Hmm...I dunno if Toriyama's style of humor would fit with the TMNT, but I would love to see just a drawing of them in his style. It'd be awesome.

Now a TMNT manga drawn by Masakazu Katsura of I"s, Video Girl Ai, and Zetman fame? THAT I want to see.

A friend linked me to this thread. I'm probably the only one who has seen most of what was broadcasted in Japan. Infact, I started an entire thread at one point, which you can see here. They also at one point planned to release the DVDs (it was implied it would've been dub only), but then pulled the release without any real explination. I think we should've taken that as the first sign something was up, but... ah well.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

As for my opinion of the Japanese dub? I thought it was alright. Took a bit getting used to April's voice, because it at first came across very different from the english voice (somewhat old sounding). Everyone else I thought was okay. Was a bit disapointed when I saw the last episode air there, since they cut out the last portion (though, I was honestly expecting it when I learned it would be the last episode). However, I thought it was nice touch to give a final send-off by the cast.

On another note, I guess Disney XD of Japan will be airing (or aired) the TMNT CG movie. Wonder how well that'll be recieved on that channel... Hope that the rest of this series will eventually get released in Japan, maybe on that channel.

Also, for those wondering what is currently in the timeslot that TMNT2003 had taken, it's currently Dora the Explorer. Soul Eater finished airing at 51 episodes, before getting replaced by that.

This sorta reminds me of TMNT87 getting replaced by Evangelion, except in reverse in this scenario.

I've seen the openings before, but those previews for the episodes were just plain weird
