Blimey. Are they that desperate for characters to produce?

Is today April 1st?
Actually this is so weird and cringe I might need to buy it. Curse you NECA! |

That was my exact thought. I assumed it was bumped up from last April Fools. Neca already has a lot in the pipeline and no one really cares about this so it has to be a joke. Still looking for Bebop and Rocksteady and soon Slash and Leatherhead.

NECA should just call their line TMNT Multi-Verse or something like that....

On the one hand, it's sort of amazing that such an obscure and distant relic of TMNT past will be immortalized in plastic, but on the other hand what a bizarre waste. I guess people like what they like, but I'll always prefer the original rock n' roll turtles. Classic Rocker Leo is my favorite figure of all-time.

I?m on the same boat. After looking at the set more and reading people?s opinions, you can really appreciate the idea. This set will probably do pretty well and that does open the doors to figures that would not have been thought to be produced. Or I least hopefully it does.

Is anyone here actually interested in this?
I'm hoping scalpers buy a ton and get stuck with them. |

The scalpers thing would be pretty funny.

I made my parents watch COOTS so much when I was little that the VHS got warn out and they had to buy a second copy. So for me it was a massive part of life back then, as ridiculously cheesy as it is haha. So once I get my set, I hope scalpers get screwed on it as well. |

Yeah, before this I’d have agreed we’re never seeing TNM in toy form again but now the sky really is the limit.
I don’t expect them to be part of the Target or Wal-Mart lines but an SDCC or NYCC set, if this set sells well, why not? This seems like a test for how obscure they can go. If it sells out (which it almost certainly will) then I have to assume that anything is possible going forwards. |

Anyone that thinks these aren't going to go fast and skyrocket in price clearly is still bitter about Spirit of Splinter

It didn?t happen during the height of the fandom like the Shells Tour did and the disdain for that series is exceedingly high.
