Hey, good for you, Jimmyjams! That's a very unique piece.
This is my favorite thread on here, by the way. I love seeing new stuff pop up in it.
Shame it doesn't get hit as often as I wish it did.

It is my favorite aswell! I am a huge fan of Original artwork in general, not just Turtle stuff. I should have some new stuff to post in here very soon! And a commission from the creator of a certain classic Nick Toon......Not turtle related. Hehe.

At Heroes con a couple of weeks ago I commissioned Jim Silvani. He's done merchandising work for the turtles since 1990. Packaging, promo stuff, etc. His most notable work though, would be t-shirts. Shirts that still sell to this day in stores like Spencers & Hot Topic. You probably own one or two! You can see some of his shirts here (though there are tons more not pictured). He's a really nice dude. http://www.silvaniart.com/Pages/fapparel.html

I couldn't make up my mind on what to get, so I told him he had total creative control. Oddly enough he ended up doing my favorite turtle!

It's 9X12, pen/copic markers.

Most likely, I don't see why not. Most artists take commissions at random times. That 9x12 piece cost me $40. He does smaller ones for $20, too.
Those were the prices I got at the con, but he may have different ones on regular days, dunno. On his blog you can see a mean Casey Jones.

@ Powder: He posted your commission on his blog, as well as a really cool looking Casey Jones. It's just a little bit down the page here

I contacted Jim Silvani last week for a commission. Since I couldn't decide if I wanted a Darkwing Duck or TMNT drawing, I asked for one with all of them.
I love his work on the new Darkwing Duck comics.
