But more than that, he's a huge part of the creative team and direction. I'm pretty sure you can find some fairly spot on Rick and Morty impersonators but if the show is going to feel and be written radically differently and if the show hasn't seen a strong season in several seasons now...?

I have seen some more screenshots of things he supposedly said...during the #metoo era...that came out after this domestic abuse thing.

I am not saying wether it did or didn't happen but there was a perfect opportunity to "believe her" and nothing was said till it would be a good time to get on the social credit train.

Geez, you just can't win anymore. Either woke idiots ruin our old series, or people creating all new series turn out to be creeps and assholes.

To be honest, I'm glad Eastman and Laird are both decent people. Maybe Laird is grumpy at times, but he seems like a stand up dude.

It sucks when people you admire and adore end up being horrible people in RL.

We are lucky that Kevin and Peter end up being two of the nicest people in the TMNT fandom, Unlike other fandoms who have people who done questionable things.

Yeah. I mean, I wouldn't call the creator and voices of Rick and Morty someone I'd admire, but I like the show, the concept and the characters, and it sucks to find out he's a creepy asshole.

Believe me, I despise #metoo liars just as much as you do, and this could be just another Amber Heard situation in regards to the domestic abuse case. However, the text messaging thing is pretty disturbing, and I cannot give Justin a pass just because he created Rick and Morty. Grooming cannot be tolerated no matter who is doing it.

If I end up being wrong, then I will admit that I was wrong. But until then, no more wearing Rick and Morty shirts in my house.

Go to YouTube look up the legion of skanks reading the texts, they are a group of comedians; very raunchy and dirty stuff, but it was so funny. If he's a creep let him get what's coming to him but without context I will withhold judgement.

Something I keep thinking about: the alleged incident occurred around three years ago. I wonder, did he really keep this to himself all that time? If he knew he was in the wrong, I could see that being the case. But if he felt like he was being wrongly prosecuted or something, he would probably confide in those he is close to. I'm just wondering if anyone else had this knowledge these three past years.

I dunno, the whole thing just makes me think about the whole "separating the art from the artist" debate

But I've watched all of Solar Opposites, for which he is a credited co-creator and lead actor.

Looks like Hulu/Disney/21st century have finally made the decision to cut ties with Roiland as well.
