Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods

Who else here grew up with Dragon Ball Z? Cause if you did, you are NOT going to want to miss out on the new Dragon Ball Animated movie that came out on DVD/Blu-ray today!

It encompasses everything that's great about DBZ and completely captures the essence of the series. It's a must watch for any Anime fan and my personal favourite Anime movie of all time. It's my new favourite DBZ Movie (Used to be The Legendary Super Saiyan: Broly). Check it out and leave your thoughts down below.

according to Funimation, it will be a few years before they can get a chance to dub the movie

It'll probably be fansubbed within a week. So, The Plot To Destroy The Super Saiyans videogame-based OVA, the anniversary webisode and this are the only official DB productions still in need of English dubbing, right? O_o

Now I kinda wonder what the super saiyan order is at this point. Is it 1, ascended, 2, 3, God, then 4? If you can even call GT proper canon?

While I was reading up on the movie a few months back, I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that Toriyama said something to the effect of ignore GT.

Far as the order, I don't know. Either it is 1-3 then god, or god could just be a power up.

GT's not really canon. Toriyama wasn't even involved in it other than giving it a name and considers it to be some side story.
