Great--thanks. The machine looks absolutely amazing, but I'm still sort of reeling at the cost of it. My fear is that I'd get a beast like that inside my house, it'd be fine for a few years, but then something would go amiss and I'd have no idea how to fix it or even where to look for help.

That's the crazy thing about this pinball machine. It literally costs as much as a decent used car does!

I'm the type who would rather not have $5-10k invested in some kind of machine unless it can transport me from Point A to Point B. Still, I'd love to play it somewhere.

I'm wondering what kind of pressure will be on public arcades (or places that host the game cabinets) in a Post-COVID19 world. Seems like all it takes is one person complaining about "how can you allow so many people to push the same buttons on that thing all day?" to get them shut down.

Hey there still waiting on responses from the Music City Pinball reps. They didn’t get back with me yesterday. Today may be a little delayed as I am moving, but if I hear things I’ll post

Thanks for the update. You'd hope it's better than 90 days or something really restrictive like that.

They are complex machines, especially newer ones. They will need service from time to time and depending upon how much they are used. But even if you never touch it, there are parts such as the rubber around the bumpers that will break down over time. (think a decade plus if it is not being played) But there are companies in most areas that service arcade machines. How do you think the ones in bars and restaurants get repaired?

I do like the original pinball design from the early 90's.

It looks nice, but the play value is a bit limited. There's only a few things worth shooting for if you really want to play seriously for points. And none of them can really compete with putting the ball up the one ramp. So most of the game just becomes constantly aiming for the same spot. This version looks like it has a lot more going on.

This game looks amazing. Watched DeadFlip showcase the Pro and the Premium. Looks like a lot of fun. Playing episodes from the classic show and working your way up to defeat Bebop and Rocksteady as well as Krang and Shredder in Dimension X!

Will definitely be saving up to get this in my basement.

I wonder what the dimensions of this machine are, and how easily it comes apart for transport/setup. I imagine the legs come off, but what about the rest? I'm leaning toward ordering one for my basement, but I just need to make sure it will actually fit through the door!

They are big. Here's a link to the manual on Stern's site

It basically comes fully assembled save for the legs. You have to put on the legs and tilt up the rear display which folds down for shipping. (The manual shows the process in detail.) It also has the weight and size specifications at the end of the manual. It should fit through standard doorways without issue. But if you want to measure, you would want a minimum of 31inches. (Oh, and from experience, with basements watch out for handrails. Your doorway will likely be wide enough, but if you have a handrail right next to the doorway, it may cost you an extra 3 to 4 inches unless you remove it temporarily.)

Also, if you check out the manual in more detail, they have suggested service listed on page 8 in response to your questions earlier in this thread.

Glad to help. I bit the bullet and put down 20% on one of the LE models last week. I'm really looking forward to this being released.

Congrats! In terms of features, I think the Premium version is fine, but I don't care for the cabinet artwork. The Limited definitely looks slick.

You'll just have to start charging buddies who come over to play to recoup your costs!

The sad thing is that I know that ultimately I'll want to track down all three versions. So I figured I better get the LE version first since it will be much harder to find in the future.
