If it were a facsimile edition then maybe I'd be interested but, based on that image, that's not the case - the cover isn't even the classic wrap-around.

Bummer. Probably one of the items in the Mirage crate, and it’s just not that exciting for a hardcore fan, at this point.

I was under the impression it was part of an 80s-themed crate, rather than an especially TMNT-themed crate. Although it may show up in that Mirage one ...

The TMNT Loot Crates from NECA seem sold out. The #1 reprint is included in this month's regular Loot Crate box.

I'm glad to see that. Neca sounds unsure on whether to push forward with more Mirage figures, so I hope this encourages them.

Well, the 'shading' is certainly interesting and different, but the non-red coloring (Shredder wears red, dammit!) and the IDW coloring of the arms and hands which reflect the careless effort of the color classics reprint annoys me to hell and back!

But then I looked back at the original Shredder figure release, and I'm just starting the paint here just looks sharper and more pleasing to the eye, even if it isn't authentic. |
