Introduction

Hello,

I am new to the board and this is my first post. I am a big TMNT fan and I am interested in original art by artist such as Peter Laird, A.C. Farley and Eric Talbot.

I also have a question -- How do I start a new thread? When I try to do it I get the following message. My account has already been activated (after a long waiting period).

"You do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

As for starting a new thread, I see your post is the first one in this so you started this thread right? Just do what you did for this thread, click the button that says "new thread" I think it's in the upper left corner.

Hello Icebot and thank you. You're right it works! I was able to post a new thread. Previously I was trying to post a "want to buy" thread for TMNT art and for that I do not have permission. Thanks again! I should have joined the forums years ago!

Hello and welcome aboard.

I can't remember 100% but I don't think you are allowed to start buying and selling immediately when you join (someone can correct me if I am wrong). I have not tried to use this feature so I am not certain.

Welcome. Better late than never. I only joined this forum about half a decade ago, even though I was a lurker since 2002.
