Dead Rising 4 (Frank West is finally BACK!)

looks like we finally have a true sequel staring Frank west for the first time since the first Dead Rising!

it'll be nice to have another reason to have gone Next Gen besides only Dead Rising 3.

as much as i loved Parts 2 and 3, Frank just had a quality about him that really made the game fun!!

Like why did anyone think it was a good idea to get rid of psychopaths they were pretty much one of the best parts in the franchise

they got rid of more that just that.

they pretty much neutered the gameplay and made it into a stale hack and slash with dull graphics.

Maybe thats why they are seeling it for 30 dollars now also out of curiousity what parts of the gameplay did the neutered.

the photography is like it's on auto pilot

the weapons feel like your swinging a plastic wiffleball bat.

the zombies look bad. not scary.

there's no personality to any of the survivors

i don't like the level design

it's actually steps way below the original

and they didn't even make Frank West look or sound like Frank West.

i had such high hopes for this game.

also Capcom removed the Overtime mode, and i hear they are charge people $15 DLC to purchase it.

that's just revolting.

I know Dead Rising isn't Capcom's biggest franchise but to do this to your fourth is game is nothing short of disgusting hell from what you're describing it sounds less of a neutering and more of a bi section

and what's worse for me is this was one of my favorite Game franchises.

i'd have been happier if they just never even made this forth one.

i'm beyond disappointed. i feel like they really took advantage of us fans.

You know looking back the fact that they launched this in December should've been a hint that this game wasn't going to be good, admittedly I'm more of a casual fan of the DR franchise but I was planning on getting this game when it came to PS4 but now euuggh. Hopefully if there is a DR5 its gonna be a helluva alot better than 4 because this was just shameful.

if they release an 'Apocalypse Edition' with all the DLC like they did with DR3 it MIGHT be worth getting? ....... IF and Maybe.

but i'm not gonna hold me breath.

What do you mean "Frank West is back"??? That ain't Frank west It's a joke and a slap in the face to true Dead rising fans. The game looks and sounds like utter trash, looks as bad ad Dead Rising 3.

Totally ruined this franchise, and the first 2 were SO great.

i made this post long before the game came out, so i didn't get to hear the poor choice of voice actor they chose.

calling this game trash is actually an insult to trash.

Capcom expecting people to pay extra money to get the true ending, makes me never want to buy another game from them.
i had RE7 in my wish list till i saw some reviews, now i just deleted it.

but now i'll just wait before it eventually drops to a $20 bargain bin before i even consider it.
there's not too many games i'm looking forward to.

Well its made by insomniac and they have a good track record but after Platinum's tie in with TMNT I'm going to be a little more cautious. On the plus side the trailer does look good.
