Will we ever get a proper Bane in a live-action Batman movie?

Bane made his movie debut in Batman and Robin. Yikes. In the comics Bane is one of Batman's most formidable enemies who broke his back. In Batman and Robin he was mumbling and mindless brute who took orders from Poison Ivy. Considering the movie came out in 1997 only a few years after Bane debuted in the comics, I can't imagine how angry they must have been.

Then we have Bane in The Dark Knight Returns....who wasn't really Bane either. He didn't use any type of venom, and he was also written as a disciple for Ra's Al Gul and Talia, rather than a mercenary. His mask, the way he spoke, etc...is also nothing like Bane.

When will we ever get a proper Bane?

Isn't Bane supposed to know how to speak Spanish and Latin besides? He should really have more of an accent besides considering where he hails from.

I liked "big guy" Bane in TDKR. Tom Hardy did a great job of putting his own spin on Bane while still keeping some of his character from the comics (which never was that great to begin with).
