At the weekend apparently.

I'm guessing they are only filming the stunts, explosions, special effects first and the actors will film later.

So yeah, that's last minute. Even if he won't be in footage filmed for quite a while, he was still cast less than a week before filming.

I bet we can expect some exterior shots, Kind of like what they did with the first movie.

You remember how they were shooting right in the middle of NYC, and people didn't know they were filming the movie, Even though it was obvious.

Filming is expected to happen in Albany and Buffalo, So hopefully we can get some images of videos from that, If anyone happens to be around the time, they start filming.

A sports car doesn't necessarily mean a high speed chase. This could just be a car a character drives. They show
off the cars Tony Stark drives all the time. New turtle van looks cool. I expect this one to really embrace the cartoon series instead of the comics.

I loved the TMNT score. I still listen to parts of it. Every day, to be honest...

I like the "Brotherhood" track. It is quite touching.

I'd actually like to hear more Japanese inspired musical scores. I think there actually were some in the full score which I believe consisted of over 30 tracks but a lot of that was never used in the movie.

Agreed 100%. The Japanese basis is such an important aspect of TMNT and has been so overlooked by PD.

Seeing as how the Japanese element for the most part was taken out of the first one, there was no need to have Japanese inspired musical scores. Maybe if this one leans more towards the Japanese side, we'll get some of that...I hope.

The jacket makes me wonder if by chance we were just seeing a difference in lighting and image quality depending on each source. Rather than a separate jacket. (It's like that damn dress... do you see brown? yellow? mustard yellow? tan? lol)

Yeah, that would be very nice. I recall maybe just one track from the first having just a few notes that sounded like it, otherwise that's it. Would be nice to have more. I'd prefer to see them experiment with more of that and other music styles than just falling back on the rap because it's a "must" for some reason.

A sequel should be much easier to budget, because the studio has more concrete expectations. We know that lots of turtle footage got cut because the budget was cut. I, personally, don't expect screen time for the turtles to be an issue, again.

Fingers crossed for the writing, but with the origin more or less out of the way, I would like to think they are on more sure footing in terms of how to approach the property. You may not like their approach, I just think they'd be less likely to change their mind, mid-production.

With all the sets videos surfacing, I thought it would be interesting to edit the videos together, as they all appear to be from the same sequence.

I do not mind a good, well choreographed chase scene, but my idea of action, especially in a film about 'ninjas' is is hand to hand or weapons based combat. Remember Eastman's promise about RAID-like fights? There were hints of that in movie-1, but nothing more. In fact Splinter versus the Foot/Shredder was the best fight of the whole damn movie because it delivered on those elements.

and as bad as NINJA ASSASSIN was, its actions sequences really captured the spirit of the whole stealth ninja action, while still being entertaining.

either way, im on board, not bc ill concede to whatever we get, but bc ive grown with variations of turtles, dark to goofy, and ive come to appreciate both.
