One thing that stands out is that it is focus on Bruce, Barbara, and Jason. There were only a few months between Killing Joke and Death In The Family so making it from three different eras not possible.

It's both canon and non-canon.

What does that even mean? That's not a thing. This isn't Schroedinger's Canon, is it?

It's just something that can be touched on in the books if need be, but something that also functions as an island unto itself and doesn't impact the main canon in the way a line-wide event would.

So at NYCC, DC unveiled their new comprehensive timeline, chronicling precisely when heroes made their debut and had their various ups and downs. They're going with an "everything happened" approach, although there are rooms for liberties...such as Wonder Woman now becoming the universe's first hero instead of Superman

I'm shocked the left haven't mandated that The Bible be rewritten so that Eve came before Adam, too.
Give it a week, they probably will.

Apparently word coming from NYCC is Jon will be aged up further to an adult and will replace Clark as Superman!
https://www.bleedingcool.com/2019/10...man-dc-comics/ ...And apparently, this is what the whole of "5G" is about..replacing all of the veteran heroes with new legacy characters https://www.bleedingcool.com/2019/10...dc-comics-5gt/ Wonder Woman will be the first title relaunched under the new 5G era in either January 2021 or November 2020, with further relaucnhes occuring each month, each title replacing the veteran hero with an unexpected legacy https://www.bleedingcool.com/2019/10...-dc-comics-5g/ |

Mandatory replacing of all the main DC characters with new ones? I can't imagine anywhere else that ever tried that experiment and failed.
Shesus, DC was almost getting its crap together for the most part... now this? Has to be more sticky notes from their overlords at WB.

Why can't the OG Titans take over for their mentors one day and Batgirl and Supergirl change the second half of their name? Is that too conservative or too expected?

I just wish they'd bring everything back to right after "Brightest Day." Continue from there. Nice and simple.
All the events since then, they still remember but never really happened.

I completely agree here. So much was going on never to be followed up on.

I've been thinking the same thing. Just go back in time to Brightest Day and go from there.
I missed out on a bunch of stuff right around then; I was still collecting but I moved and had to put everything on pause, and then New 52 happened. But I never went back and filled in my gaps in the Brightest Day stuff because since it was all rebooted and ignored anyway, I didn't see any point. WB really is like the Bizarro World King Midas; everything they touch turns to rancid sh*t.

The label may have been removed, but that does not mean that the direction is. I am reading Detective Comics, The Green Lantern, and Batgirl (also Doomsday Clock, but the clock ran out on its all over the place narrative awhile ago). Don't love any, but don't hate any.
How will this revival of Nora differ from Lazura? Appears to have similarities of Nora going rouge and against Victor. I really want to see Brubaker or Jeph Loeb do Batman again one way or another. Loeb's departure from DC created a crapfest called All-Star and I was hoping for a break from his similar formula in his three other tales (all favorites of mine). Also, I posted this on the Green Lantern thread about a week ago... The Green Lantern#12 was confusing. So Qwa-Man is Hal Jordan of the Anti-Matter Universe? Aside from the same hair color what makes them the same? This Qwa-Man character is basically Cyborg Superman. Qwa as in Qward? Also, I thought Hal defeated Controller Mu and the mission was over? Suddenly, he is pulled back in by Mu who is not dead and they do not know that he is under deep cover following Mu's defeat? Also, when did The Darkstars get renamed The Black Stars?
