Neca POTA lines unfortunately cancelled. The one reason I am not buying these unless I see all four of them.

Is there an official preorder date? So far, I've only seen them on bbts for preorder. I'm just wondering, because the new Previews catalogue doesn't mention the new Neca boys. Would love to order via Previews, because my lcbs could order them for me. This would save me the shipping disaster to Germany Does anyone know, if Neca will offer them via Previews? It seems as if Previews doesn't offer Neca at all

I'm guessing planet of the apes doesn't sell as well as TMNT. I still think they move forward.

Yeah, the figures based on the classic films and the contemporary series both disappointed, apparently.

Toyark posted some further info about these. And future plans.

Quote:
TMNT

All four 1990 movie 1/4 scale Turtles will be coming, 1 each Quarter starting this June with Donatello. Promises a ton of accessories will be revealed soon.
Hopes to do more TMNT 1990 Movie figures beyond that, definitely wants to do Splinter and Shredder. No promises.
Wants to do pre-mutated Splinter and baby Turtles as accessories.
Promises more TMNT news soon with more products in different sizes, product types and more.
Says fans of their classic comic TMNT figures should be “really happy”. Specifically mentions Video Game style and throwback style packaging. Hmmmm.

Considering how much the original NECA turtles are going for now I bet quite a few people with buy a box load of their new stuff.

I'd be very tempted to buy 2 of each - display and keeps.

This all seems like very good news.

Dare I hope that those foot soldiers, teased years ago, will see the light of day? Are a Mirage Casey and Splinter too much to hope for. I know Complete Carnage and Radical are!

As much as I hope that the Henson turtles are released in 7" scale, I reckon I'd still get the 1:4 scale ones. Particularly if we are getting a bunch of accessories to deck them out with. Hat and trenchcoat for Raph?

You could just hold out for the smaller scaled ones & get all 4 for the price of one large piece.

I hope that happens. They don't even need paint or accessories... just bare plastic in a baggy... still be better than any Playmates stuff

Amen. NECA seems very confident, & the culmination of their many press talks gives a strong indication of that happening. Not so much an if, but a when.

I'm waiting to see it in person. The video, it looks awesome, but I'm having a hard time believing that was 1/4 scale.

I wanted to grab their Adam West, but once I had it in hand, the quality was a bit of a letdown. Hoping that's not the case here.

The Donnie pro type shown at toyfair was 1/6 scaled. Final product will be 1/4 scaled and Powder is correct that NECA hinted at other scaled offering of not only this line, but of a retro video game line. Hopefully we will find out more this month or early April!

I think they killed it on the head sculpt, just wondering if at 1/4 it will translate.

If we're being honest, some Mirage TMNT at 1/4 would be fantastic from NECA.
