How old was Bruce Wayne when he became Batman?

I know his parents died when he was 8 and he started training at 14 but what age did he become the Batman? Any version can be listed, btw.

I don't know that any incarnation really gives a date. The post-Zero Hour version said he did a few years in the CIA after spending some years going around the world. The general sense, the first time he puts on the cowl? I'd say like 30.

I think somebody once said he became Batman at 23.

Well, for the Tim Burton version, I assumed he was in his 20s.

The general consensus back in the day when I was really into comics and Batman is that he's generally thought to be 32-35 in his "prime" and late 30s when the whole Bat family exists. You gotta be a little flexible to let all his adventures happen but yeah his first batman adventures would've been around 25 or so since he did travel the world to train and graduate also, and yeah fitting in so many Robins was already difficult ten years ago, It's even worse now, especially since they also de-aged him. I just count my Batmans as being generally 32ish or so unless specified that he's younger or older in the story, it's best not to think about it too much and just have a vague reference of how old he's supposed to be.
