The Live Action Short Film "Kung Fury" is gonna become a Feature Film. its going to star Michael Fassbender.

I donno if Kung Fury got enough to be a feature movie, the short movie was a bit stretched at the end.

I love the short but it seems like it would be hard to stretch the premise out to feature-length while keeping the comedy level up

I agree. It made a hilarious trailer, but the short was a bit too much. The joke wore a bit thin after 15 minutes or so.

I remember being concerned about how good the concept would still be if it were feature-length...we'll see.

Doesn't this happen with a lot movies? Evil Dead and This is the End worked out, maybe this could too.

I felt Kung Fury was trying too hard and should've been ten minutes skit max.

Apparently this project is actually a sequel to the original short and they've just cast Arnold Schwarzenegger as the President of the United States

A sequel seems okay, a new story in that crazy universe is to me more digestible then stretching the original short movie to feature length.
