I'm sure at least... five people have genuine nostalgia for Doogie Howser. And probably one of those people would have liked the show a lot better if Doogie had a vagina.

My only thing is... they HAVE to be paying someone for the intellectual rights here. But WHY are they doing that? "Doogie Howser" once made a killing, based on nothing else but its own right and a silly, skinny white kid. Why not make a show called "Kailani Kekoa" (I actually took the time to Google those names, I'm not just spouting sh**) and let it succeed or fail on its own merit based on what its bringing to the table?

This need to cannibalize the old to suit certain... things, is kind of making the whole thing look bad.

FYI: I've never seen an episode of Doogie Howser.

I used to see the odd episode of Doogie Howser here and there but I wouldn't say I "watched" it and I don't remember anything about it. It was only ever on because my older sister had a crush on Neil Patrick Harris. Ha-HAAAAA, ain't that a bitch.

What's with chicks falling in love with gay guys, anyway? Not that he was ever explicitly "gay" or anything, especially back then... it's just funny how often it happens. Doogie Howser, Ricky Martin, at least 95% of those boy band guys... it's quite a phenomenon.
