[Fan Art] Sharky's drawings

Leo lost someone close to him and Raph was trying to console him as best as he can.

Quote:
After a gruesome battle with the Shredder, Splinter sacrificed himself by lunging himself into the dark depth of Limbo in Dimension X, taking down his arch enemy Oroku Saki with him. It was a place not for the living as it was where the dead souls linger.

Returning to the sewer, Leo kept his composure and consoled his broken hearted brothers. But upon entering his father's empty meditation room, a flood of memories made him fell apart. He really missed Splinter. What is going to happen to them now without their father to guide anymore?

Raph was there and he crept closer to his brother..

Aw. Poor Leo. Good thing Raph is there to comfort him. I'm guessing Splinter passed away, then. It couldn't have been Karai, right? Who was it that Leo lost?

Plus, were you somehow inspired by my new avatar when creating this?

Yeah it would be Splinter since they both relate to him the best.

And lol this is actually the first time I see your avatar! Pity Leo with his battle bruises.

I used Microsoft Paint, I believe, to make the blood scars on his plastron. I also made the tears. This was the picture, origianally, from "New Girl in Town" where Mikey thinks he cried.

Anyways, good work. How did Splinter die? If I ever had any rights to develop one, he would either have a heart attack, from old age, or killed by Shredder.

The artwork is touching!
Personally for me, if Splinter did pass away I don't think Leonardo would be so open in expressing his emotions publicly and toward his brothers. Of course, he would be bawling privately, but since his brothers look up to him I think he would keep his composure to be the pillar of strength and support that his younger brothers needed despite feeling just as empty and heartbroken as them.

So this is my next sketch: Black Panther vs Ulysses Klaue (his name is so hard lol).

I plan to do a night city background for this, though I hate doing background but it won't look right without it so... Lord help me.

So here we go. Sketch part done.

Next is lineart.

Man, this thread is so awesome, can't believe I didn't know it existed until a few days ago.

Love your art, Shark Blade

What they could do without being held back is my question.
Shredder could've done more than blow up the Channel Six building.
I don't mean as far as murdering Splinter, but think of the possibilities if censors were not an issue.
Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

Dude, I absolutely love your style. The way you draw/color eyes, and the combination of line hatching with gradient shading, and especially the water. That water looks f*cking GREAT, man.

My only gripe is that Donnie's head looks too skinny in the first panel, although that might just be a stylistic choice. But I can tell how much work you've put into this stuff. Keep it up, I look forward to seeing more.

Thank you for your comment, that made my day!

Yeah Donnie’s head kinda thin in that panel, I should be more alert during sketching.

I’m learning how to mix more variety of colors and experimenting - my past works usually ranges from dark/black+normal/light tones, but now I learned about cool and warm palettes besides just using black and white, which is such an eye opener. I have so much to learn.

Thanks again for checking my art!
