just maximize finn's potential in the next movie...

episode 7 burned me out for star wars...

don't think rogue one will redeem the series either...

I actually look forward to Rogue One. New cast, and the costumes with cloak behind them look amazing.

Having seen Force Awakens, I should rank the movies.

1. The Phantom Menace
2. A New Hope
3. The Force Awakens
4. Return of the Jedi
5. Empire Strikes Back
6. Attack of the Clones
7. Revenge of the Sith

I think a link here will keep the thread for detracting.

For me, the original trilogy as a whole is best, then as bad as the prequels were, they were NOT episode 7...

I'm not really digging this tie everything under the sun together and you miss stuff if you are too poor to buy it crap either.....

I can't shake my hatred of Jedi, and I have a huge soft spot for Sith. But yeah, objectively, that's spot on.

Looking at the old ranking thread, it's funny how much of a boner I had for Awakens last December.

I am out of the loop, no movie can be as bad as Attack of the Clones. Episode 7 while being practically a remake, had some nice new performances by the cast and some great action scenes.

Episode 2 is just incredibly boring. Episode III has some great moments, and Episode 1 gets a lot of hate for the wrong reasons, but Episode 2 has almost nothing to like until the big final fight...and that's it.

I'm not trying to make a statement with VII at the bottom but I just don't feel like re-watching it since it's so generic, it doesn't do anything particularly wrong but there isn't enough "new" so it's just kind of "meh".

I'll grade the spin-off films which so far they're all terrible, I still love some of them but man are they bad.

Holiday Special - I'm a sucker for holiday specials, I enjoy the cheesyness
Caravan of Courage - kind of cool to see the Ewoks but god is it boring
The Great Heep - The novelty wears off halfway through the movie but its ok
Battle for Endor - The few redeeming features of CoC were gone
The Clone Wars - Boy is this boring

So basically, everyone has finally accepted that "The Force Awakens" was not a good movie?

It was instead a decent "remix" of a good movie?

I agree. And nothing really happened in II.

I had a lot of faith about VII going into it, but yeah... after watching it I don't even feel any desire to rewatch it. Even with -- to me -- bores like Episode II, I still was itching to watch it again on DVD, then again in marathon viewings. Like it or hate it, at least it tried something new.
