I watched the 3 episodes of season 5 released on DVD. I won't post any of the spoilers in this thread, but all I can say so far is that I am absolutely loving season 5 so far and I really think Ciro meant it when he said season 5 will be the best season of the show. Can't wait to see how this whole season turns out, looks like this show will end with a blast!

Season 5 might turn out to be the best season of the series. Still bummed this season is only 20 episodes instead of 26 though. Just imagine what they could have done with 6 more episodes.

Really hope they can tie up the rest of the loose ends of this series by the end.

That's my last wish for this show too. I am happy with the show ending at season 5, I don't think they will ever be able to top it, but just six more episodes to cover the loose ends (which I think won't be possible in the arcs introducing new concepts/characters) would be perfect. 5 seasons and 130 episodes, I still have hope it can be done. Unlikely, but its possible, especially since season 4 also went from 20 to 26 episodes at the last minute.

I want all my TMNT incarnations to have proper endings. So far all the concluded series like the original cartoon, 4kids, Archie, the original movies, etc. have had decent endings. Nick needs one next, while Mirage is on hiatus and IDW is still going.

Granted not every single little thing is wrapped up, but as long as the bulk of it is I'll be happy. There's nothing more I dislike in shows then unresolved plot threads after it ends.

An indefinite hiatus, one that's unlikely to finish, although I feel the fan work TMNT Odyssey is a brilliant, if unofficial, end to the Mirage turtles.

Until PL is in his grave, there's always the possibility of more Mirage at some point though.

I have a theory about Newtralizer. He was a criminal mercenary hired (likely by the Triceraton Empire) to take out the Kraang. And his real name is something that sounds similar to Filch.
