Congratulations on the CGC grades, especially that #1 second priniting! That second printing is worth at least $400 given that it's one of the highest in that grade. It is tied for 3rd highest (there are only two 9.8's, and this was just the seventh 9.6, and is currently asking at $995 on eBay)! I wonder how much you paid for this, as it may have been quite an investment!

Eh. I've moved away from toy collecting for the most part. There are many things other than toys that are so much more rare and interesting to me now. Though I'm sure I'll stay on top of the new toys when they release.

Hey gang!
Wow it's been a while since I've updated the thread. Too long! Anyway, I got in a production jacket from TMNT II tonight. Here's a shot of it with my other production jackets (Left to Right: TMNT I, TMNT II, Coming Out of Their Shells Tour) A big thank you to fellow board member WestCoastTurtle |

Now you just need a TMNT III crew jacket...if they exist.

These are fun. Adaptations of the first two films. Signature Series -- Kevin Eastman, Ernie Reyes Jr. (Donatello Suit Actor - Movie I, Keno - Movie II), and Kenn Scott ("Talkative Foot" and Stunts - Movie I, Raph Suit Actor - Movie II). These are the first SS books Ernie and Ken have done.

Well between work and home, I've spent the entire day going page by page on this thread and all I can think of saying, is wow, what an amazing collection. So well rounded between the prototypes, toys, and comics. Just unbelievably amazing.
A few highlights for me; Dino Shredder Prototype plush turtles both reg and undercover. Water Raph with Inner-tube (had never seen this before) Driving game (with the wheel and screen) (had seen 1 open before, didn't realize it was hard to come by) Usagi graded comic Your Archie Adventures collection Pinball Machine Dooney Print (dude is so nice and i really love his work). A couple questions; How do you get toys or comics graded? Website link perhaps? Do you keep the figures in Zolo Cases? Do you just have that pinball machine or do you have the other stand-up arcade games? Do you know how do you know they are in good working condition when you buy them? Do you have any of the TMNT book covers that came out in the late 80s early 90s. Do you do collect the promotional signs/posters/standups/store displays? I also saw a lot of things that I also have in my collection so I'm glad I'm getting some key items. Thanks again so much for sharing your collection. |

Lets see what i can answer for you. How do you get toys or comics graded? Website link perhaps? Toys: http://toygrader.com/ Comics: http://www.CGCComics.com Do you keep the figures in Zolo Cases? Nope. The toy collection is very personal to me. I have no desire to sell it ever, and if I did, I wouldn't care about value as much as I would just finding them a nice new home. My carded collection is insignificant compared to my loose collection anyway. Do you just have that pinball machine or do you have the other stand-up arcade games? Do you know how do you know they are in good working condition when you buy them? Turtles wise I also have a Turtles In Time Machine that I pretty much built from scratch: http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/sho...n+Turtles+Time I used to have the first arcade game as well, but it was really ratty and I decided to sell it off rather than restore it. I'll buy a new one in better shape eventually, but they are one of the most common arcade games ever produced, so I'm not concerned about it. As you can see by my Turtles In Time Thread, I don't worry about them being in working order, as I am arcade/pinball savvy. In fact sometimes I LOOk for junkers to fix up if I think I can do it for cheaper (less so with pinball machines cause they are so mechanical. Tends to be a pain in the ass!). I haven't run into an issue yet that I haven't been able to replace/repair myself. If you are that worried about it, Buy locally so you can check the machines out before you buy them. Do you have any of the TMNT book covers that came out in the late 80s early 90s. What, like Original Art? I own the cover art to Gobbledygook #2 (a wedding gift from Kevin). I have some really strong pieces (like the first ever sketch of the Shredder) but if you are looking for early covers, Danny Merced (TMNTerminator) is your guy. Do you do collect the promotional signs/posters/standups/store displays? Not typically, no. Though I wouldn't say no to something I really felt a draw to either.
