I guess the large sized Usagi belongs to the new XL line, and he looks really good actually. Soo much better then the XL Turtles which looks weird and gangly.
Two Samurai Usagi, pretty cool. |

I'm still very disapointed that they could not keep the quality of the big (and much better looking) Usagi into the basic line version.
The big one is nice but has almost no articulations, the small one is a piece of crap: doesn't fit in style with the rest of the line, looks famished, articulations look unnatural and overall has no sould at all. Terrible execution of a potentially fantastic figure.

Series One had 35 individual figures and had the following items released around the same time Mutagen Ooze canister, Convention Exclusive Shredder, the Party Wagon and the Mouser Mayhem box set that had all four Turtles Series Two had another 35 figures. They also released a Fast Forces 6 Pack and a Dice & Token Pack to go along with the second series. Series Three was released earlier this month with another 35 figures and another Fast Forces 6 Pack I believe that tallies up to 124 pieces released so far. Some are repeats though. The figures in the Mouser Mayhem and Fast Forces sets are the same sculpts as the individual figures, though they do have unique identifiers on their bases and Bebop & Rocksteady have slight paint variations. |

I pick up a TMNT blind bag now and then (6 so far) but always with the knowledge that "this will, and must, never be complete" in mind. |

Usagi Update
Did anyone see there was a final update on the Playmates display?
They got the Usagi figure on display, and he looks pretty f'n slick! http://toynewsi.com/news.php?itemid=28391 I wish he had that extra paint app on the shirt, but that's just icing on an awesome looking cake! -JJ |

Definitely looks better than the promo still, yeah. My excitement is renewed! Man, I am so psyched on all these new Usagi collectibles.
May have to turn my little display into a two-shelf shindig!
