I've heard great stuff from a friend I really trust and it seems like my type of show. I didn't even know this was a thing. Is this in continuity with the Constantine show?

This show has been recommended to me a few times so I will give it a look.
I also heard that Tom Welling is season 3, not sure how true that is though.

It's true. He's a cop named Lt. Marcus Pierce.

I finished watching season 1 of Lucifer and I don't know. Show is alright but I can't say I love it or that I'm anxiously waiting for S2 to show up.

The "I am Lucifer" persona while awesome, kind of got old after a few episodes. The finale was a lot of fun but yeah it didn't hit the highs the first episode had.

This show needs more dark humor and it tried too hard to show you "look the devil is changing for the good" that was so over done.

Is S2 more of S1 or does it take my criticism into account?

We are way behind on Lucifer over in the UK, season 1 comes up as 'new' I've watched a couple of eps and was surprised to see a few familiar faces from other shows. So far I like it, not sure if we're likely to catch up with the US though.

Season three starts on Monday. So far the show has had two brothers, his mom(whom I LOVE as "Goddess of all Creation" with a twisted sense of motherhood) dad showed up (briefly), and of course his demoness "sidekick". And it looks like he may finally show the detective the truth. The trailer for the new season has me intrigued! To be honest, as far as staying true to the comic I neither know anything about that nor do I care at this point. It was always supposed to be a LOOSE adaptation, and I'm fine with that. I love where it has been going so far, with the mix of both Biblical lore and supernatural elements, moral ambiguity, and real world issues.

We're only on ep 5 so far.
I actually don't have Nefflix but given how big it is getting I think I'm going to get it.

Season 2,3 better than 1? As I mentioned I didn't find it that "witty" as I was lead to believe and it was just a bit boring and trying too hard in the first season.

YMMV, but I am loving this series. So glad it got picked up by Netflix! I may not get to watch it save from dvd sets, but yay! Lucifer is "saved"! And after that last finale, I can't wait to see what happens.

The new season starts on Netflix on May 8th.
I'm going to guess it will be 10 eps in-line with the other Netflix shows. Anyway, I'll be watching.

Netflix has announced a 5th and Final season or this show.

Though the revival is a little short lived with 2 10 ep seasons I am glad they picked it up to finish, I found the last enjoyable, looking forward to the final season.

If I didn't like the first season a lot, is it worth checking out the rest of the series or just more of the same?

To me the show needed more wit/dark humor.

Wife put the first one of the new season on. Seems like q la little bit too much procedural stuff vs. any real meat. Not terrible though. I laughed a few times.

It doesn't sound like the show is what you want, so probably not.
I actually love it and would say just binge watch the whole series. It is interesting. It's not really must see tv though.

Not sure many are watching but season 5 is up tomorrow, originally it was to be the last season with 16 eps, now that there will be a 6th season as the final I am not sure if there will be extra eps in this one still or not. Obviously will be able to see when it comes up.
