How long could someone last as Batman?

Imagine if someone became Batman. They have just suited up in a Batsuit (and i mean an armored, 1 billion dollar Batsuit). They also have learned most of what Batman learned in the comics. They have now climbed to the top of a building and have begun their first night as Batman.

My question is: how long could they last as batman, until someone kills him or he gives up?

In the real world its not as easy to find crime as in the cartoons/comics.

I suppose a guy dressed up as Batman could go to where gang activity is and break-up some drug-lords, but that's about it. There are no real-life supervillains to fight so nobody is going to be shooting acid in Batman's face or freezing him with a gun or giving him Riddles to solve.

The most a real life Batman would have to deal with is a bunch of drug lords and their 6 inch knives and machine guns.

By the time Bruce gave up at the begining of Batman Beyond, he looked like he was in his very early 50s or very late 40s.

Realistically, I'd say a month at most before someone gets tired of his s*t and shoots him in the face (assuming we're keeping the costume semi-accurate to the comics), or else he falls off a roof, which is a lot less easy to survive as it is in movies.

Not long at all, though. There'd also be the inevitable problem of if someone really were Batman, and they were exposed as being real and not just some urban legend, eventually it'd be fairly easy to start identifying who it was. It would be someone very rich, very in shape, possibly with a strong background in gymnastics and martial arts, fairly young, who's fairly reclusive. Once you start whittling down possible suspects, in real life there'd only be a fairly narrow pool of candidates, especially since you could start by whittling away all the old, overweight rich guys who lead very public lives.

There's a lot of things going against someone being Batman in real life. It's enormously impractical. Most vigilantes wouldn't want to bother with the theatrics of it all, when a simple ski mask and a baseball bat could get the job done just as well. They'd eventually get killed, too, but they'd save a lot of money in the meantime.

A real-life Batman would be stupid to expose his chin like the real Batman. One well place bullet to the chin and you're done for, even if the rest of your suit is armored.

There's also the fact that drug lords aren't easy to take down. Break up a drug deal or two, rough up a pimp... sooner or later the big guys are start looking for you and doing what they can to find out who you are. Not only will the guy pay, so will his friends and family.

He'd have to kill to survive. I find it more realistic for the Punisher to last a good decade if he's smart and people think he's dead.A high profile billionare being Batman? 2 years at most, a month at least(he is a ninja after all). Drug lords and pimps can buy their way out of jail and such. Kill em and they're done.
