I've been keeping a close eye on the PRH website but there's nothing new on there yet. I also contacted Bobby Curnow about a month ago but he never got back to me.

It is around now that we would usually get the details of the following summer's release so it is a little odd, but the Volume 1 paperback has been delayed to January 11th now and the switch over to Penguin being IDW's direct distributer may also have had an effect.

I'll provide any updates as I see them.

Volume 14 is coming, don't worry! I finished the cover about a month ago.

I thought Dan Duncan did all the covers for these?

Welcome back Sophie!

I too am surprised that Mr Duncan is no longer doing the covers, but I will look forward to seeing what your take will be like.

When I asked Bobby back in March he did suggest that the hardbacks would possibly be getting a rebranding like the tpbs, so a change of cover artist is likely a part of this.

Oh yeah, the Transformers ones eventually got labeled as "Phase II" or something, weren't they?

Yep, they're about to move onto Phase 3 next month.

There's a fuller run down of all that on page 168 of the Ask the Editors thread.

Really nice color on that one. Like the use of black and dark blue. Also nice to see Alopex finally gracing one of these. The Annual's apparent exclusion IS an oddity, though, since I believe it takes place during the timeskip, right? If that's the case, you'd think it'd be the first story in reading order. Also kinda surprised that they didn't rebrand like the TF collections.

As I understand, TF rebranding was done due to each phase being an actual reboot, which is not the case with TMNT.

Also, 100% agree with Annual. Even if 2020 one is positioned as part of The Armageddon Game as well, it should be collected in this volume - these books are presented as chronologically ordered foremost.

Nice find Shargor.

I've asked Sophie Campbell about the annual and she's currently waiting for a response from the production team to confirm the situation, but she is well aware that the previous annuals have been included in earlier volumes.

Update on the annual situation:
I've spoken with Sophie and she has confirmed via the production team that Vol.14's contents don't include the annual however Sophie has asked them about adding it in as these volumes are supposed to be in the correct chronological order.

It's still 9 months away from the listed release date so hopefully this can all be sorted out before then but let's keep our fingers crossed in the mean time and as always I'll post any further updates as I see them.

Nice! Good to have that cleared up, as it would've otherwise been a majorly weird choice for a series that's been pretty great about including everything in proper order before.
