And then it was revisited later when Leo threw the line back at Shredder when they rescued Splinter in TMNT #12 I believe. Circumstances were a bit odd but that was what caused Shredder to target Leo as his 2nd in command.

At this point, I think we ALL need a re-read for those of us who are.

Who knows what kind of sneaky hints have been dropped through the series that have gone totally over our heads as being hints.
We were already somewhat onto Pantheon stuff, but I think there might be other things, especially relating to reincarnation and...other Pantheon things.

I have a feeling some things (these hints or early Easter eggs) will only make sense after the Pantheon and/or reincarnation storyline has fully played out.

I think at least a few things are coming together now that we know what Kitsune has been planning all this time. We still don't know all the details

Which includes the full extent of her deal with Krang, unless I'm missing something big time. I'm still not entirely sure what he wanted from her. Which I'm pretty sure was access to Japan as his hiding place for the Utroms in stasis, but that fell through. So he had to go for Burnow instead. And then it's a question of how he went about deciding that was the better option.

Yes and keep in mind some things were in early development so may not be easter eggs like the snake creature being a patheon member, but it was beforethe lineup was fully decided.

Yeah, that wouldn't really be something that would count necessarily. I think something more appropriate would be "Pantheon family members have been killing each other for some reason and now there's only a few left"
