I fully designed the box from scratch based off the movie. I had to take a couple creative liberties due to them not showing every area of the box clearly. Pizza was also sculpted and painted by me (nice gloss for the greasy cheese). Despite having printed boxes and a few casts to test my mold, I wont be going full production until I have Donny in hand. At that point I can start to make more casts and painting. I think the boxes will come assembled as well.

I'm compiling an interest list for when I am ready to start producing. Really the only hold up is scale. I would like to be certain the scale is 100% accurate with a production piece. Although my calculations are correct for the pizza, I want everyone to be happy with the final size and don't want to have to go back and redo orders should it be too large or too small. (Pizza is currently 4" and Box is 4.75")

These are going to be in the neighborhood of $30 shipped (priority - tracked/insured) domestic, not certain about international yet. Payment wouldn't be due until I actually start producing. Production would be in batches of 10-15. Once I get that many done, I'll ship and start on the next batch. I haven't put a cap on it quite yet but there will be one I'm sure.

I'm also interested in doing other accessories so let me know what you guys would like to see. I can start my research and do some concept stuff.

Hey, it looks amazing - the brown spots just look nasty.
You're attention to detail is incredible, down to the oil stain on the box.

Do you make other toys?

I would like to try that one if there aren't already 1/4 scale ones out there. I havent looked so I have no idea. Not that anyone would legitimately have Donny roll around but I wouldnt make the wheels moveable.

I'll have a look into the paper. Turtle wax has been on my list from the start. Again never showing the complete label I may have to take some creative liberties again. I know the canister isn't accurate either and I'll be working on making a more accurate one.

Thanks man. Other than referencing the movie I had to do some research on what are on most Dominos boxes. That actually helped me get the "Our drivers carry less then $20.00" that is show on the side. In the movie you can see a frame that says "...carry less..." and I couldn't figure it out until I did that research. It was enjoyable to do.

Yes to both. I was bouncing ideas off another dromer when I first told him I wanted to make this and he suggested the Penicillin pizza. Id sculpt a new pizza with half the slices gone and would really like to flock some areas on top so it actually looked like mold rather than painting. As far as the box I did make a dirty version but because that box is pretty beat up Id probably let whoever bought it also rough it up.

Selling the boxes alone can definitely happen.

I appreciate it. I tried to replicate all the dark spots from the actual movie scene. When you look at the scene I showed above and the overhead shot of the slice when it lands on a plate they look like they have completely different toppings. I wanted to go towards the one from the scene above though since it was a full pizza.

As far as other toys I've always customized and worked on original sculpts but they've only been for myself. My last turtle related toys were original bebop and rocksteady headsculpts to properly represent the OT and to go with the playmates classics. I also sculpted a lot on their bodies.

I'm currently working on a custom figure project for the little known show in my signature and have started to research doing some original TMNT toys of characters that never got made but should have. Here's a shot of a character from the show below and the articulated model.

I do traditional sculpting but in this instance and the potential turtle project I would be 3D printing the master, prepare it, and make molds/casts

List updated guys. Also added interest list for other items Id like to do. Ive inquired with a few companies about producing the trenchcoat and hat. I wouldnt be making those personally, only being the contact, having orders shipped to me and then Id ship them out. Nothing official yet - Ive been roughly quoted $150 for that.

I have Donny ordered from 2 places so whichever gets here first Ill start working on this stuff much more.

Just wanting my Donny in hand to make sure all proportions are appropriate and then I'll be starting the process of casting, painting, etc

BUT there will be delay because of the holidays - back when these were going to be released in September, then October - I didnt have obligations.
