This is the fourth TMNT/Batman comic crossover now after the two before and the Nick/B:TAS one, I wonder why we're getting so many of them. From what I remember the sales of the last one weren't that spectacular, I think only in the 20,000's or so.

Joker's mad enough to team up with IDW's genocidal Krang, so he's my guess for the villain. Or Poison Ivy, maybe.

If it's Krang gaining some DC tech than it's unlikely the Joker is playing a prominent role. He's not exactly a tech based villain.

It's probably going to be some Apokolips tech so the more prominent villain on the DC side of things will be Darkseid.

As pointed out earlier in the thread if that's the case it would be a good excuse to get other DC cameos in. we know that the turtles have at least spoken to some of the Justice League off panel during the first Batman crossover. The possibility they may have had a proper meeting we didn't see pleases me.

It's convenient tie-in timing for the spring/summer release of the movie, so that's probably a factor of "better to try now than later."

We can hope. The Ghostbusters crossovers have been great... and canon.

I enjoyed the first Batman crossover and can more or less fit it into canon, but the second one was just a mess.

True, but on the flip side of the coin, if they're just mashing a bunch of crap up WITHOUT worrying about the story, it could actually work better than when they TRIED to have a story (twice) and it sucked (twice).

Also, very few of the DC Elseworlds tales were reputed for being good "stories," but many of them were still a lot of fun.
