I thought Cult was very interesting and that's usually what happens to all the shows I find interesting. So hopefully this show will last up to 10 seasons. Lovin all the Batman rogues showing up! Wasn't Clock King one of his originally? He's always been one of my favorites. He had such a silly yet relatable origin story in BTAS and looking forward to seeing how he's portrayed here. Also great to be seeing Amanda Waller and really hoping we'll eventually see Ra's al Ghul.

Is this show only enjoyable if you know who all the more obscure characters are? I was really hoping for a goatee for Arrow in this series at some point.

Where does the show really pick up and grab you? It didn't hook me from a the first couple of episodes but maybe I'm just not as familiar with the character enough.

Midway thru the first season it totally picks up. Season 2 has been totally awesome so far.

Can't wait for season 3!! Im hoping Ra's will show up eventually!! Or Talia gets pissed off over what Nyssa did and attemps to lure Black Canary back into the league of assasins.

Totally agreed, first few episodes of season 1 were a but slow, but once it picked up, it was amazing. Season 2 has been absolutely spectacular so far

I really can't get over how impressed I am with this season. Each episode seems to knock it out of the park.

I think I'm going to begin watching this show since S1 is on Netflix and everyone talks about how good it is. Hesitating because I don't like watching shows and then waiting a long time for the next episodes, counting Netflix is my only option outside of torrenting I'd have to wait a while for S2 and even then I'd have to wait just like everyone else. I just prefer watching shows already finished. I make some exceptions from time to time when I really want to watch a show but even then I forget what happens, after the long breaks Young Justice had I would often forget all the small things that had happened in the previous episode which had aired months ago, so not sure if I should start. This would be my first time I binge through a show and only do that every year when a new season is finished. I might try it just because of that.

My buddy and I were talking about that the other day. It'd be hard to do convincingly since the long pointy goatee and twirly moustache is a pretty big giveaway as to who's underneath the mask.

But, what if he just adapted a fake goatee and moustache for when he dressed as Arrow? Someone close to him can be onto him(say, Thea for example) and he needs to throw her off. Felicity makes the suggestion of a fake goatee. He can make a throwaway comment about how ridiculous it is but does it anyway. Iuno, just a thought.

Well I started watching it, only 4 episodes in and why isn't this thread more active? It's easily one of the best superhero interpretations ever made, including movies. Only problem I have and it's a problem GA has always had is that the show feels Batman with a bow, he's just too similar to Batman, but this show makes it more blatant because there's plenty of scenes/ideas taken straight out of Batman Begins. I like it because they expand on things I liked from the movie but other times I feel "oh yeah this isn't Young Bruce"

Welp season 3 character news is now a go!

Devon Aoki has been cast as.... Katana! It'll be interesting if the show goes all supernatural with the whole soul sword thing. Wonder if more members of the Outsiders will pop up??

Episodes 8 of Flash and Arrow will be a 2 hour crossover event. Starting Tuesday night on The Flash and continuing Wednesday night on Arrow.

Sounds interesting. I still don't know if I'll be watching The Flash yet. Need to look into it more, but I can't wait for Arrow to come back on.

Well here's something unexpected! The JSA is coming to Arrow starting with Wildcat! He will be played by J.R Ramierez. So they're going with a young JSA I guess since J.R is currently 33 (he'll be 34 in October).

Quote:
In Arrow, Grant will be a former boxer who now runs a gym for underprivileged youth. A man with a mysterious past, he will play a pivotal role in Laurel Lance’s arc this season.
A former boxer at that young of age? Well at least he gets to mentor Laurel...

Incidentally J.R had a recurring role on "Emily Owens, MD" which also had Justin "I was Oliver Queen/Green Arrow once!" Hartley.

Maybe not "Mickey From Rocky" style, but it's easy to see how someone could be a former boxer by their mid-30s. That sh*t's catastrophic, it only takes one bad fight to scramble your eggs permanent.

I like Wildcat, though, props to them for pulling up some of the more obscure characters.
