Do we know if The Flash will be added to Netflix along with Arrow S3 later this fall? I remember reading Netflix got rights for Gotham.

Considering the fact that Iris and her dad are black you should have expected Wally to be as well. Sides, he's been black in the comics for like a year now.

New 52 is old news now but it's also old news in DC that they're already looking to ignore it. just because he's black in the comics doesn't mean they had to do it here either. And no I didn't know the West's were black since I haven't watched the show and have kept spoiler free, that's why I'm hoping it comes out on Netflix.

So yeah the rant about him being black might not be too new but I hate the idea and I just saw the picture as I was about to post about the possibilities of the show coming to Netflix so I thought I would rant about that as well.

Honestly, it's pretty understandable. What would have been the point of keeping Wally white in this universe if they were gonna have both Iris and her father black? It would have been pointless just like how they changed the race of Johnny Storm and his father while keeping Susan white in the new Fantastic Four movie. Either you change the race for all of them, or don't do it at all.

I do however understand where you're coming from as someone who grew up knowing the Flash as Wally West. But given the context of this particular universe, this is a justifiable change.

Of course, it's entirely possible they'll bypass the "Kid Flash" thing entirely. (I'm fine either way, so long as they don't use that godawful New 52 costume pictured above.)

So is Wally still going to be Iris' nephew? Because unless she has a heretofore unmentioned much older brother, that seems kind of unlikely. And Jesse L. Martin (who plays Joe West) is only 46, which is already pushing plausibility to be Iris' father, so that's especially unlikely. So maybe he'll be Iris' cousin in this version?

Considering the shows plays heavily with time travel, I'm hoping we see a glimpse at a future Wally as The Flash. Kinda seems like a given.

Wow. Jesse, Jay, Wally, and Barry? Plus Zoom?

This is either gonna be spectacular or Flash's "Arrow Season 3." A little worried that they're packing so many speedsters into this... but for now, I have absolute faith.
