Hi Bobby, I'm off on my annual pilgrimage to NYCC next week. A few questions about this year's con. No sweat if you don't know the answers yet, just seemed like my best avenue to ask:

– Are you (and any TMNT info) going to be part of the "IDW: 20 Years & Beyond!" panel on Friday?

– I saw a "TMNT poster" listed as a promo item at the IDW booth on their website. Any details you know of?

– First time meeting John Byrne, will he be charging for signatures? Wondering how many of his comics to bring (don't worry, it won't be more than 5). He's not a ticketed signing?

Looking forward to seeing you and the crew as always!

Hi, yes, i'll be at NYCC and on that IDW panel.

I'm not positive, but I think that poster is a City at War/Jennika poster that we shipped out to retailers that we have extras of.

I'm not sure on the Byrne signing, sorry!

Will this IDW TMNT Panel at NYCC 2019 talk what's in store post issue 100? We already got a reveal for Mona Lisa. Will more Characters be revealed during this Panel?

It won't be a TMNT panel at NYCC. Just an overall IDW panel where we'll be touching on TMNT amongst. As such, we won't be going into too many details. I don't think we'll be talking about anything that isn't already public knowledge on this forum-- just some hype for #100, that Sophie is doing the book after #101, etc.

Bobby, is there any determinate amount of new mutants after #98, or will you expand on it as the plot requires?

We'll go into that more in future issues. At the same time, we'll keep it a loose estimate to keep storytelling flexible.

Maybe this has been asked....I'm rereading the entire series up to 100 and just finished "Invasion of the Triceratons" and the associated Universe issues. I have to ask this, what happened to the Triceratons' fleet of ships that were on the moon? Were they abandoned or is that gonna be something for us to keep in the mind for the future?

I'd have to reread myself to have a knowledgeable answer. If they weren't what were being used in the invasion, they could still be there!

In your opinion, is Hob an Anti-Hero, Anti-Villain or straight up Villain?

Good question and a hard one to answer. I'd probably put him in the villainous category as he ultimately doesn't care about what happens to those who disagree with him. But it's a complicated question-- he's done good things and elements of his philosophy are sound. I wouldn't argue with someone who had a different read on him.

In RPG terms, he's probably chaotic neutral:

"A chaotic neutral character is an individualist who follows their own heart and generally shirks rules and traditions. Although chaotic neutral characters promote the ideals of freedom, it is their own freedom that comes first; good and evil come second to their need to be free."

As of the last issue? Full on villain now.

(And can't wait for Leatherhead to hand him his tail given how he feels about mutation)

Hi Bobby, is there any chance the three Batman crossover series will be published together in a single hardback volume?

It's possible though I haven't heard anything to that effect. As this was a DC led project I probably wouldn't hear about it until pretty late in development though.

Sophie is drawing and writing all 12 issues of next year, right? So Tom Waltz won't be back on the main series till 2021? Besides maybe some specials or so?

I'd say a consecutive 12 issues with the same penciller seems like a stretch, the only artist who managed that so far was Duncan.

No, Sophie won't be writing and drawing everything in 2020. She's the lead creative, but there will be other people doing stuff, including Tom. That's about as specific as I can be at this time!

So it seems that the final issue of Shredder in Hell keeps getting pushed back. I was wondering if this is just a scheduling thing or the issue isn't actually finished?

I'm hoping to hell (har har) that it goes to print next week for 12/4 on sale. That's looking to be the case currently.
