I agree. Has anyone tweeted or sent a pic to Playmates to show them what actual effort looks like.

Please don't! The last thing we need is Playmates getting their feelings hurt and blocking these from release.

Playmates won't block these from release. Playmates doesn't give a **** about most things. They don't even respond to social media

Word on the facebook is people are pretty upset this is an SDCC Exclusive. Neca would be shooting themselves in the foot if they don't retail these

Very curious about the price point. That'll be the limiting factor for me.
Well...that and the line.

Maybe something in NECA's agreement prevents these from hitting brick-and-mortar retail? I hope not, but I expect NECA will want to release these in as many ways they're legally able. Last edited by useasneeded4pain; 05-23-2016 at 11:39 AM. |

I also think these being original sculpts that they wouldnt break even with an exclusive release. I only want one. I love the sculpts and the idea but don't want a full set of pixelated turtles.
Scratch that. I do want them all but I can't justify the space. That's what i meant to say. Well for what it's worth the two box sets likely wont be much more expensive than buyingeing all four SHFiguarts OT turtles. My guess would be around $150 for each box set max. Due to Playmate's iron grip on the retail license, this is likely the only way NECA could get these figures into the hands of collectors. If they had it their way, NECA would do a retail line in a heartbeat. Plus a 6" GI Joe series, but Hasbro would never allow it.

Same reason that MONDO did their comics turtles in 1/6 scale. |

F-ck Playmates.
Still, I'm sure they'll release these in another way, either with the old movies or a packaged version of the video game. No way they made new sculpts for a limited exclusive, they would lose so much money on that. |

6-7" is pretty much the same thing, so no. For the record, I wish Playmate's was out of the picture too, but they're not. So other companies have to figure out creative alternatives to making TMNT figures. Larger scale, limited releases etc.

I love the Foot Soldiers and Shredder but the pixelation on the turtles seems a bit too dark in the black areas.
