Oh those are amazing. And they won't even see the Gamestop shelves. Any employee scalpers at that crap organization (this is not hyperbole, go read about Gamestop, look at their stock, watch the YouTube chatter) are going to supplement there income because many of these are going to wind up on the bay.....

I saw the Leo/Batman and Raph/Robin sets at a GameStop in Illinois (Niles) and had them in hand but they wouldn’t sell them to me because legally he couldn’t because the street date for these are 9/2/19....lame lol. Well they lost out on 110 dollars. I saw one that rung up for 55 tax included.

Why even put them out if you aren’t going to sell them until a few days later? *shakes head*

The Don/Batgirl pack comes out on 10/2/19
The Mike/Alfred pack comes out on 11/2/19
Shredder/Ra’s Al Ghul pack comes on 12/2/19

Donatello from the Don/Batgirl pack is the most memorable turtle in the Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie and toy series. I love Don’s belt.

What would make DC Collectibles pair Donatello with Batgirl? I know Leonardo is the leader, but Donatello and Batgirl and Michelangelo and Alfred?! The 2 packs line-up is off.

I'm gonna take a guess it's because there were scenes specifically where Don and Batgirl were together, as well as in the comics doesn't she kiss him? Mikey and Alfred I'm guessing based off of the scenes involving them interacting over skating in the mansion and the pizza, etc. Just a guess.

Those were odd decisions for 2 packs from a toy industry observer’s point of view. Michelangelo with Alfred?

The whole Batman vs. TMNT idea is bogus to me. How do spoofs of comic book characters from the early 80s meet up with actual comic book characters?! What is going on in this century? Since when does fan fiction become fiction for sale?

I wouldn't say that. There are a lot of toy industry observers - many of which actually work in the industry and or do industry writing, and it clicked right away with them.

I would just say that it was an oddity to you....

In the end does it really matter though? If people plan on buying all of them they'll end up with them all regardless of which figures are packed together. If they only want one or two specific characters they will have to buy whichever pack said figure is in. As someone who actually watched (and enjoyed the movie), the pairings all make sense to me.

Personally I only have interest in Shredder. I could care less about Ra's Al Ghul, but I still probably won't buy any of these. They are cool but not enough for me to spend $50 a set on or $50 just for Shredder and have to resell Ra's. If they had done some of the mutant villians maube then. I liked the Joker and Harley and could see potentially buying them had they been made.
