We've had a Turtles movie grounded in realism, I think the movie verse needs to embrace some of the sci-fi elements to give something more than Turtles, Shredder and Foot. I would love to see some Utroms or Kraang or Krang...or any variation thereof. Personally I want to see a Triceraton on the big screen...

Honestly there is alot more Sci-Fi in the comics than gritty realism at this point. I say embrace the Sci-Fi, the Mysticism, the Supernatural...not to the point of Justice Force or any other super-hero teams, but to the point that some of these things do exist, and as such ground them in some form of arguable "realism."

Why can't aliens exist without making the movie completely standard science fiction fare? So bring in the Utroms, heck, bring in Leatherhead...don't go Fred Wolf of Nick Turtles overboard with Mutants, but what's the hurt in expanding the Universe to something more than Frank Miller inspired Turtles?

Oh yeah, and definitely a Triceraton, because Triceratons are cool...

Eh. We'll just have to wait and see what new info we're given.

I agree. I want a Turtles in Space arc on the big screen.

I've always loved the TCRI origin and what it led to. I hated the half-assed attempt at explaining their origins in SotO. TGRI (still hate the name change) was a joke.

Bring on the Utroms.

Excellent find! Can't believe I missed that.

Totally convinced Sachs is an Utrom and Saki will be resurrected by Karai (who has no idea how vile her ancestor is) after she and the foot break into Sach's TGRI facility and steal the ooze or whatever is needed to bring him back. I can only imagine that is where the "snow chase" parts of the film will come from - the Foot taking ooze to a remote location (where Saki's body is?) We already know that Lego set with the tanker has Karai and ooze with it.

So many ways the movie can go, hopefully it will only set up a great future for the films and a strong live action franchise.

Maybe we'll end up with Triceratons in one of the sequels?! This could become a really awesome movie series.

Yup I already noticed the Turtle kappa warriors and the utroms as well on the wallscroll. A buddy of mine owns that scroll, he's just not allowed to show it yet.

But those are definitly Utroms on it. And since, as seen in the trailer, it's TCRI, and not TGRI, we'll be getting Utroms for sure!

There’s clearly much more to the Turtle’s and Shredder’s origin in the film.

That is cool! And they definitely look like Utroms, not Kraang.

I think this is some epic foreshadowing. I don't think we will see this in this movie. That seems more like something that will bea payoff in the sequel.

Don't forget, it was mentioned in an interview that they are signed on for multiple movies. ..

Hey....that's actually pretty damn cool!

We really can't plot out the whole movie just from a 90-second teaser but it looks more intriguing than expected.

Wow, good find, eagle eye! I welcome the Utroms with open arms but the fact that there are turtle-like warriors in the picture makes me VERY nervous about the whole turtle species from another dimension from the old script. Oy!

I doubt its a species. There are only 4 Turtle warriors in the image.

I've gotta say, the more I learn about this movie, the more I start to like it. I had my misgivings just like most people around here, but there is some good potential here. Please don't screw this up, Bay...

I also suspect its Krang himself, rather than the Utroms.

I wish that one guy would get his friend to post high res pictures of each section of the scroll.

Might clear up a lot of things regarding this thing.

Or even detailed descriptions of each section. Like what are those flying things on the right side.

What do the little guys fighting against/with the Turtle Warriors look like clearly?

Any details that might lead us to believe that the big samurai in the center is clearly Krang's robot body?

Just a couple high res, well-lit pictures of each section would be awesome.

Yeh. That's what was supposed to be the Secret of the Ooze, that it came from another planet than Earth. And it was written out. Scandal!

I like the idea of the ooze being of extraterrestrial orgin (as much as I hate the idea of the turtles being extraterrestrials).

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a connection to the Utrom/Kraang with the military - thus the science that’s being done ties into the Ooze’s extra-terrestrial origins. That also makes more sense for the ideological rift between Shredder & the Turtles and potentially the creation of additional mutants like Tokka, Rahzar, Bebop, & Rocksteady being used and controlled by the Foot.

Is anyone reminded of the scrolls from TMNT 3 when they see this?
