What type of benders(from the Avatar TLA/LOK series) could you characters being

If TMNT characters were in the world of Avatar what bending types could you see them do based on their personality and fighting ability

For me here is the list
Water-Leo,April,Miyamoto, Karai,Baxter Stockman
Fire- Raph, Shredder, Bishop, Angel(IDW),
Air- Mikey, Splinter, Alopex, Nobody
Earth- Casey,Don,Hun, Bebop/Rocksteady

Leo and Raph are either fire or earth, depending.

Didn't the majority of Avatar characters who used weapons not have any bending ability? If you were to use these characters in the Avatar world, most of them would probably stick to the weapons we already know them by.

They did this in the Ninja Tribunal season.

Leonardo had the spirit of the Dragon King.

Donatello's attack was "Cleveing Wind!" so he had wind.

Michelangelo got super fast speed.

Raphael had bunrai and turned into a spinning wheel.

Meanwhile the Foot mystics had all the natural elements. Fire Mystic, Water Mystic, Wind mystic, Rock mystic, and Metal mystic.

Eh some did, I remember Earth Benders using hammers to increase their bending and I remember Zuko combining his dual swords with firebending

I agree with the OP's answer, at least for the turtles. April would most likely be earth, Casey would be fire, and Splinter would be water. I agree that Shredder would be fire and R/B would both be earth. Angel might go fire, but I don't see Baxter or Nobody (The cop version) as having any bending. Karai might go water or air.

Oh this is fun, and I think the OP is spot on for the turtles.

Leo - Water (cool, calm and collected)
Raph - Fire (hotheaded, aggressive)
Don - Earth (grounded in thought, tactical)
Mike - Air (carefree and quick)

Now I want to see a crossover print of them displaying their bending abilities! (Powder, this seems up your alley! )
