Even the royal family arn't immune to the virus.
Prince Charles has got Corona virus. He's 71 but luckily he's only got mild symptoms.

Total death toll is now over 18,000 worldwide. And think of how high this number will get by the end of the year. The virus hasn’t really reached South America yet, just imagine how the virus will spread once all the Hispanic countries come into contact with it. I’m honesty really surprised it hasn’t broken out south of the border yet given the close proximity with the U.S.

Huge number of lives lost. It's hard to register a number like that. It becomes even more abstract when you haven't met a single person with the virus. Truly an invisible enemy.
Looks like the stimulus proposal passed and most of us in the states are getting checks for $1200, if I'm not mistaken, as well as boosts to unemployment benefits and some other perks for those who need them. That's something. |

Well the new restrictions with the stores seem to be working here, lining up (but spaced out from each other) letting people in as others leave and limiting the amount of items people can have. The lining up didn't look like a welcome sight but actually it was better to then go into a non rammed store. Shelves looking a little better also.

Nah, the tinfoil hat crowd won't matter - they aren't infected anyway. They are too busy being sheltered down in a bunker in a desert somewhere while they all wear outfits that look like UPS employees. |

Yeah, but that happens every other week in Japan. It's like a cafeteria lunch menu of disasters.

Next week officially will be like a holiday in Russia: everyone will stay at home, aside from those who busy at most important places. I hope I will stay at home too, stress of the last few weeks gets to me.

I'm home from work. Had a massive headache, was disoriented and no energy last night. And a night sleep did not fix it, now I'm dry coughing so hard I'm seeing stars and a bit hard of breathing.
I might be paranoid, but i worry I might have it now and my partner is in a risk group |

Yikes, sorry to hear, hope it isn't. Are you able to get tested?
My mom had some digestive issues yesterday, and of course I've read that it's actually been somewhat common for some people to have that before respiratory symptoms show up. Seems to have passed so hopefully it was nothing, but gah!, don't need that stress worrying. >.< |

The disease is currently projected to wipe out 10% of the total human population. when all is said and done. So millions of people out of the billions on Earth. We’re already now at over 19,000 deaths and keep in mind this might not be accurate it’s probably even higher already.
Some also believe China is not reporting the correct number of deaths and is giving out a much lower number than the death rate actually is. |

Unemployment filed, call put into child support to get those payments reduced for obvious reasons, and hunkering in to watch a lot of Star Trek: Enterprise and work on some puppet and action figure shows. That's about all I can do.

Was just going to ask about the unemployment... if it's best to file right away or wait a few until the government sorts itself out since it may include expanded something or other for that.
Kind of wish there was a separate virus related link to file or instructions on going about that instead of worry about getting tangled up in the requirement nonsense I had to deal with a couple years ago. Hope there is something to specify the virus relation to filing. edit: Something neat for U.S. residents to browse. The "report card" for states and counties (as of the 3/21 currently) on how each are doing with the social distancing and the general change in community movement for a given area. https://www.unacast.com/covid19/soci...ing-scoreboard Last edited by IndigoErth; 03-25-2020 at 03:59 PM. |

File right away. The additional unemployment aid will just tack onto it/into it when it comes.

A one week stop doesn't make any sense for a virus that has an incubation period of two weeks.. just my opinion.
