It has been an ODD month for un expected reactions.

two people that have been coming at my neck for months actually agreed with me on something in a non insulting way for the first time ever.

and two people that have been on my side for 4 years plus abandoned me because of one comment I made. one I even had to defriend on facebook because he basically shuffled me off to someone else.

Is it a month for VERY odd, VERY out of character reactions, or is it just my area?

Do you ever get tired of online drama?

Quite frankly, i'm hating how one thing mis said, or bringing up one topic someone has a hard stance against, will cause 10 years or more of support to suddenly drop down the drain just like that.

and it's usually when the other party is acting irrational. Lost lots of people over trying to discuss movies in the last few years. Lost one person trying to make a joke about a moved event that didn't sit too well with them.

It honestly gets tiresome trying to babysit people's emotions. let alone keeping my own in check!

Something feels like the universe demands we have a certain number of cats in the house. Since two days after putting down Bianca, my brother rescues a kitten out of a sewer.

(And does not want her to be named April, which would be appropriate considering her orange spots, being a tortoiseshell, and the first area of encounter).

We're considering Neenah

Seeing as how these four were also rescued from a sewer pipe the other day and were named after the Turtles... yours definitely needs to be April.

The rescue itself was actually kind of scary, since he had to go in through the manhole and through a two foot pipe without a ladder...and the second time with only one hand.

She's not "my" cat though, so I don't get to name her.

Well darn, but I guess after that bravery he earned the right to choose the name. She's a very lucky kitten.

Well even if she can't be an April, maybe she'll at least still be a good *ahem* Mouser.

I don't know if it's just my area, but I swear there is no quiet hour during the week to go to a store anymore. There's always so many cars on the roads and in parking lots no matter what day and time it is. Sure, Walmart at 11am on a Tues., for example, isn't as busy as it would be in the later afternoon/evening or on the weekend, but it's still busier than it used to be a few years ago. Minus the retirees and stay at home parents, surely the majority of them have jobs... Has part time work become that much more common, giving people crazy schedules and allowing more than before to be out on the roads, at stores, etc during the normal 9 to 5?

Probably hitting close to a third of the story. I could almost have 12-20, but I'm missing 19. So close.

I know it's essentially human nature, but I'm dealing with a serious case of "only wanting what you can't have". I think I've always been sort of extreme in this mentality, but it feels completely outside of my control.

For instance, I went on a date and it went pretty well. We got along great. I texted her the next day and was bummed when it seemed like she may not be interested in meeting again. Like, it really bummed me out for the day.
Turns out, She does want to hang again. We're supposed to meet up tonight, and it's about the last thing in the world I want to do right now.

What is wrong with me?

You're the type of guy who likes to chase. I'm like that as well. If they show interest quickly or first I get turned off for some reason.

Though I suspect it's not limited to just potential partners, at least for some people... Willing to bet that it's similar when looking for a particular figure, collectable, etc that is hard to find. The fun is in the hunt for it. Find it then move on to the next that is longed for.

Heard an old song while at work in one of the stores I cover, but of course as usual I don't know the name of it and can't recall any lyrics. I've done this plenty of times in the past, mostly because I find it strange... Simply put, it's that song with a sound in it that basically, to put it one way, sounds like a dog hacking up a chicken bone. lol Once again was left wondering what the heck song this is and what is that sound even really suppose to be/why is it in there??
