I'm getting around to Metroid Samus Returns remake. I beat the original, but it's been so long, it's confusing as hell now.

is there a giant map online that shows you all the areas and things to do?

easy enough... I'll give it a shot.

just beat metroid , the original for the first time in what would have to be just about 30 years. can't imagine how I beat that when i was a kid, but I did.

even now, with a guide, i only got the 3-5 hour ending.

fun game, but brutal.

As of today, the Switch has been out for a year. I still just have one game for mine. It's all good though, since there are three games coming out in May that I'll be getting, and at least one more in the future.

I'm not sure what nintendo's game plan is for the long run.

All you really need is Mario and Zelda. then what do you use the swithc for?

If they had released their entire library on the Virtual Console....on day of release, it would have been a good bone to throw...but other than that..

they keep releasing things in spats on every other nintendo system. only this time they havn't bothered much with a virtual console at all.

It'd be a nice gesture on their part if they just released all that they could in one go each time a new system came out.

Nintendo doesn't really learn from their mistakes really well, this is why even though they've been criticized since the launch of the Wii they can't get their online sh-t together, why they repeated the mistakes of the 3DS with the Wii U and are doing the same thing with the Switch when it comes to services like VC and the like.

The fact that the Switch is doing well they won't even care about the problem that the UI/OS of the system kind of sucks and the "simplified" look the shills/PR are trying to sell to us just doesn't cut it.

This was the reason I didn't want to get a Switch and posted my reasons here before and on my site. Of course I'm a nintendork and ended up buying the shiny new system, but that doesn't mean they're doing things right. I can't stand how defensive people get over the Switch's flaws. Where were those people when it was time to defend the Wii U?

Aaaaaanyway...

I finally got up the courage to play Breath of the Wild, for the first time since...July. That was when I tried to defeat Waterblight Ganon and he'd always tear me limb from limb. Then an hour ago, I was just keeping at it, and keeping at it, and keeping at it. Then I finally whupped him. It's crazy how he can take you out with just one or two hits. Now I have to stock up on food again to prepare for the next battle.
