That terribly 'controversial' new Ghostbusters movie.

Better than I was expecting after all the nonsense about it. Is it as good as the original... not really, but it didn't really feel like a true remake to me though either; stands enough as it's own thing that it was fun enough, and really it could have worked just as well to put it in a different city and suggest it was a new branch of the company.

I did like the diversity of the women, and a "girls will be girls" vibe which you don't often see.

Maybe it was just my low expectations, but I didn't find the characters too obnoxious or anything, they were just fine.

I watched Justice League Flashpoint Paradox man that is an intense movie. I like that Flash was the main character in the movie. One of the better DC Animated movies.

Predator 2 (1990). Not as good as the first one, no real rememberable characters, and not as interesting story, but still pretty good. Adds more to the lore, I'll give it that. And the Predator costumes are always good looking.

Saw Lego Batman with my wife and son. Pretty great. Loved all the nods to Batman past and poking gentle fun at the DARK AND BROODY!!! Batman of recent year.

No Arnold in the sequel alone brought it down.

The Blair Witch Sequel... I had low expectations going in... It did not disappoint them.

I will never understand why anyone would have wanted Arnold for the sequel, or in any future Predator movie. Unless it's a total reboot of the universe, Arnold has already beaten a Predator, and it makes sense that the rest of them would leave him the heck alone.

He wasn't in it because- different situation, setting, and story. Period. Predator is NOT a character-driven franchise, it is story-driven. Meaning that it does not matter who the characters are in each installation, what matters is how they deal with the threat.

I saw John Wick and Lego Batman. They were great and I would recommend both to anyone.

Crimson Peak

There's a couple things I wish it would have explained, but otherwise... not bad. Kind of a freaky Victorian gothic ghosty somewhat horrorish film. Would recommend.

Gidget, the 1959 film. Didn't know the show was based off of a movie which was based off of a book series.

Anyway, my roommate adores the film and I was watching it with her. Just wasn't for me.

Alien 3 (1992).
I get why some people don't like it (it's undoubtedly not as good as the ones before it), but I don't think it deserves all the hate it gets. It's still a pretty decent movie, with some great alien effects and an interesting setting.

Unfortunately, the Version I saw the Assembly Cut, and that one doesn't seem as good as the original theatrical version. I searched the internet and couldn't find the theatrical one anywhere.

Problems I had with the Assembly Cut:
*The Dog Alien doesn't come from a dog anymore
*Ripley's final scene got the queen Chestburster removed
*They actually trap the Alien, only for it to get away. An extra half an hour for that?
*Added in CGI. Although it isn't really noticeable, and there's very little of it, I think they could've done without

Good things about Assembly Cut:
*More characterization? I'm not sure, as I haven't seen the original version, but apparently it's there
*Longer run time?
*IDK

Overall a good movie and installment in the franchise. Can't wait to watch Alien: Resurrection. That one sounds interesting.

Boyfriend and I watched Lego Batman.
I was delighted that there Daleks in it

Now, if Krang and Shredder were there, it would have been the cherry on top.

But if there's any way to get Sauron and Voldemort working together, this is it.

Alien Resurrection (1997).
Pretty good film overall, another one that I feel gets injustly criticized. Sure, it wasn't the best film in the series but it still had a lot going for it. I found the characters to be more interesting than the ones from Alien 3, and I liked what they did here with the Xenomorph clones. Ripley's story in this movie was the real highlight, though.
I'd recommend it.

Aliens. LOL, I totally forgot Kyle Reese was in this movie. Really odd this guy never became famous despite starring in Terminator and being in Aliens.

Moana. It was nice and safe. I wish some characters had had more purpose.

Spoiler:
Surprised that antifa terrorists haven't bombed Disneyland because of all the swastika-like symbols in the movie.
