I'm pretty sure Kevin said they screened 40 mins to the in-house crew, not the press...

Ok in house crew, my mistake, but these pics are definitly from that 40 min!

Btw, since this movie is tied with the previous movies, isnt it kinda weird that:

1. Raph has no scar on his cheek
2. Splinters ear is whole
3. (small detail I noticed, the TMNT have no nails)

Raph had a scar in the first movie? And while everyone says this is following the first movie, contrary to that trophy room image, I don't think it is. Kind of like Superman Returns might have something to do with the Christopher Reeve films but it can work perfectly well on it's own.

Maybe they didn't include it because they didn't notice it, or we go with the similar but diffrent universe theory. It may have been edited out to keep the PTA happy or maybe they just couldn't include it for the effect they wanted. We know why the humans don't look photorealistic and they have enough detail on the guys as is so maybe they just couldn't include it without mucking that up.

agreed, vague history basically. its like a comic book the way I see it: various versions of the world but the characters have similar backstories

Also it looks like, from a few pics, Raph doesn't have his shell scars, present in the other movies. Ah well. I guess they all have a clean slate and can get scarred by the end of this movie.

Judging on the screen caps, it seems that Raph knocked over Leo, but they were interrupted by the Aztec-like monstrosities.

I must say that I didn't see any noticeable scar on Raph in the whole trilogy. But maybe I just didn't pay enough attention for such details.

The 40-minute thing, I never heard of. But, my theory is that these were the pics USA Today and the like had the option of buying. Why else would they take down only the pics we can't find elsewhere? There are still 7 images and all 8 posters.
