Seems like S7 is just going through every idea that NECA had first. I don't really understand why we needed the disguise Raph because we already know that Undercover Don is coming within the next couple of waves though *putting on my best Neitlich impersonation* maybe they are just adding the parts to their tooling bank to spread out the cost over multiple SKUs. Same thing for the frogs, having a full set of them in Genghis style would be nice maybe as convention exclusive or something, but Rasputin and Attila weren't part of the vintage toyline and I can't see too many people shelling out for toon style non-toy characters for whom a more toon accurate figure already exists.

Fwooshcast Episode 67 is on The Fwoosh website: http://thefwoosh.com/2021/11/fwooshc...s-brian-flynn/

Brian said that half of wave 4 are in their warehouse. They are waiting for the other two to arrive.

Pretty cool but I can't start buying the variants, especially not at the new price point.
Ultimate Undercover Raphael has Breakfightin’ Raphael’s belt. Interesting.

Wait, it doesn’t glow in the dark? I’m confused by this super7 exclusive.

I think we’re going to get all 4 undercover.

Don with be the wave version, with each other being some sort of exclusive.

I’m surprised that a yellow weapon rack isn’t included with this exclusive.

I've had a similar plan (I don't have any of the basic turtles, neither now nor as a kid). I preordered it only because it is a variant variant, meaning that it won't appear anywhere else except BBTS. Nevertheless, I may cancel it if they reveal a Space Cadet Raph with better or more unique tooling (I'm still conflicted as it may go well with Undercover Don). Ideally, I would like to have an entire set of Samurai turtles (not just Leo) and an entire set of Undercover turtles (not just Don) but I would prefer a plastic coat as most companies don't do mixed media attire well, with the exception of Mafex and Mezco.

Y'know, Mike is my favorite Turtle...perhaps, I should create a Michelangelo shelf. Not a bad idea!

Hmmm, I was actually getting the impression that this undercover Raph might be just another way for people to get Raph if they missed out on him previously. The figure itself is identical except for the red R on his belt as opposed to a yellow R. Well, also the hat if it's not removable, I guess.

They are rereleasing wave 1 & 2 so no one should miss out. Bigbadtoystore have them up for preorder.

I hope some third party company or S7 themselves release a hard plastic trench coat for Raphael...

All the instagram comments along the same lines of "there goes $300" humor me. I'm not sure I'd like an updated toy-style Party Wagon that much. I LOVED the Mega Bloks release, but that might be as far as I'm willing to go.

I wish NECA showed theirs first. Neca's will be cheaper in price.

Here's the thing I don't quite get. Why is Super7 and NECA under the impression that we want a Party Wagon with all the bells and whistles, scaled down to the last detail, replete with multiple layouts/loadouts? I understand that vehicles are niche and somewhat expensive due to the tooling but folks like McFarlane are able to keep their vehicles around the $20-40 ballpark (as opposed to $150-500). Are Super7 and NECA purposely making these models "deluxe" to justify their expected costs? I mean, why can't we just have a simple, functional, aesthetically pleasing, bare bones Party Wagon that can house about 4-6 figures...

NECA won't be producing a Party Wagon. They have the FW license, so they would be working on a Turtle Van

Both Neca and Super7 are making a turtle van (one is a toy version and one is cartoon version)

Not sure how I feel about soft goods, but a full set of undercover turtles is something I've always wanted as kid. I have the NECA set and will likely get the S7. However, I really hope they complete a set of samurai turtles, along with samurai Usagi, and Panda Khan (if they can figure out a way of securing the license and then taking creative license to transform the vintage toy into a hypothetical toon representation).

I'd much prefer small diorama pieces (like NECAs 2008 turtles street pieces) than all those various hands and accessories. 90% of which stays in the box for me.

I don't want playsets or vehicles TBH.
