Did Bebop and Rocksteady die at the end of Turtle Trek?

It is something I have always wondered.

After that episode, we never see them again in the Original Cartoon, but thats not the main reason I think they didn't survive.

Rather, Shredder and Krang actually did come back in season 10 so that makes me wonder why they didn't just bring the two mutants along with them?

99 out of 100 times during the show, Shredder and Krang kept those two no matter how incompetent, so I thought that Bebop and Rocksteady's absence in season 10 was glaring.

It makes me think that the two ended up getting eaten by the giant plant monster that destroyed the technodrome.

Shredder could've done more than blow up the Channel Six building. I don't mean as far as murdering Splinter, but think of the possibilities if censors were not an issue.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

I'm of the not officially dead until 100% confirmed when it comes to superheroes and the like. So I'm going to say no because I can't think of many villains that died in the OT.

Dregg and Mung probably saw them as too incompetent, no need to bring them alongside Shredder and Krang.

Nobody died in 90s cartoons.

They were simply sent "into another dimension."

Ah yes, I totally forgot that Shredder and Krang were brought to earth against their will by Dregg.

So if they survived, Mung atleast would've definetly met Bebop and Rocksteady during his travels through Dimension X since he also met Shredder and Krang there.

This.

Plus, it's also a bit depressing to imagine them dying. I wouldn't even like Shredder or Krang dying in that show, let alone Bebop and Rocksteady.

I's just that Red Sky was meant to be more serious and action oriented, and thus Bebop and Rocksteady were ignored/written out. Not to mention there were already enough "people" in that 3 parter. Dregg, Mung, Shredder and Krang plus the Turtles, April, Carter, Splinter, Landor and Merrick AND the 4 Turtles from the past.

And Shredder and Krang were two people like Dregg and Mung, so it made sense as well. Rocksteady and Bebop were mere underlings and two moronic ones to boot. Wouldn't make sense for Dregg to try and strike a deal with them.

While I agree that Rocksteady and Bebop didn't die, plenty of characters died in Transformers Beast Wars.

It was?

What was the name of the episode? (I forget after not having watched FF for so long, and can't find any info about it on Turtlepedia)

The episode is Milk Run, it’s a Torbin Zixx episode.

Back on topic, I always guessed Turtles Forever took place after Divide and Conquer, and if it’s true Bebop and Rocksteady couldn’t have died in Turtle Trek. I know a lot of others believe that’s when it took place and a lot of others believe it takes place much earlier.

Is Bellerophon the correct spelling (talking of both series)?

I think it’s spelled Balarophon.

I think they’re spelled the same in Turtle Trek / Milk Run but I never learned for sure.

One handheld game that came later had them teaming with Berserko/Drakus; who had taken up the reigns from Krang and Shredder after the old Technodrome was destroyed. But the final time we saw Bebop and Rocksteady onscreen guarding the portal was pretty brutal since it's clear the Turtles weren't messing around this time.

I guess you're talking about Dimension X Assault (1995)?

Oh no, Transformers are definitely alive. They have emotions, and can feel joy, as well as pain and suffering. One of the best episodes of any action cartoon ever created was a season 2 episode of Beast Wars where Dinobot gave his life protecting the prehistoric humans.
