Considering Batman is currently dead in main DC continuity, my guess is it'll be set in some elseworlds Batman universe.

I wouldn't mind it being set in the Batman Arkham videogame universe.

I think IDW has been keeping TMNT in-continuity for the most part. Even the 3 issues that haven't been officially considered canon still fit into the continuity. I can't wait to hear more about this book... The only concern I have is if they do what they did with Ghostbusters and let Hot topic handle a round of RE covers.

Which 3 issues? As far I knew, only the X-Files crossover is considered non-canon, and the inconsistencies in that one aren't too big (April's haircut, etc).

So obviously Krang gets free somehow in order to teleport them to Gotham City. We can blame Honeycutt for not getting rid of him permanently.

I'll admit that I'm not a Batman fan, but I have low expectations for this. I hope I'm wrong. Either way I'm sure it wouldn't be the worst crossover in TMNT history.

Thats a good point. I much prefer how IDW does their ads in the back of the book.

Yeah I was referring to X-Files, even though it fits if you place it in between the page where Leo gets his bandana back and the next page where April arrives with her haircut.

The other 2 issues I meant were the Infestation issues which I guess have been mentioned as canon but as far as I know are not included in the IDW hardcover for year one that just came out. Also I don't think that any of the characters have ever referenced the Infestation as having happened?

I really enjoy when IDW does these oddball stories like Infestation, X-Files, Ghostbusters and now Batman! I can't wait until next year when they team up with Scooby Doo and the Harlem Globetrotters but until then I can't wait to see Mikey with a utility belt.

It seems like it was mentioned at a DC panel or interview with a DC-person, but maybe is supposed to be announced at he IDW panel tomorrow? Regardless of how it happened, yea, it was an early leak.
