It needs a historic site marker whether the house is there or not. There are places around my city and one on particular would have no indication wreck of the old 97 train, but still a marker is placed in the spot of the crash site. Does Maine have this historic marker sign system?

Hey it's Andrew who said that franchise is crippled right now which makes no sense considering the stuff for TMNT in the past few years. Making fun of IDW's TMNT is just an easy joke to add to that.

"Crippled" isn't quite the right word.

"Intentionally... handicapped," perhaps?

No, it really isn't, because IDW is arguably the best thing that came out of the franchise from at least since Viacom's aquisition.

In the words of Professor Jordan Perry "Affirmative. Yes. Yo. Right on... my man".

Absolutely. And what should the plaque look like?

In that case there needs to be a proposal brought to the appropriate committee in the city. I suggest someone go to city hall and find out the specific committee if it is the historic society or city planning commission that would approve of such a sign. Then take it to the committee pointed to. If there are other signs around Dover like I am referring to then I see no problem with it going at the site of the former house. Its just getting someone to go to the trouble of writing up the proposal and finding the appropriate local committee because it varies by city.

Not too unlike the fictional Turtle Farmhouse in Northampton, Massachussetts (three-floored single-family house, one attic floor).

You really think that? We have managed to get quite a lot of TMNT stuff and regardless of what I like and don't like I'm glad we got it because it's kept the flame alive and brought in more people.
