I'd say only "Turtles and the Hare" is the only stinker on their "10 best" list. Not a great list, but not as bad as it could have been either.

We already have this cartoon on DVD. Why are they releasing it again?

What kind of question is this? You're bothered by the fact that they're rereleasing the complete series set for people who missed it the first time around?

Why the hell is this an issue?

For those who bought the complete OT series set the first time, do any of you see a difference with this new re-release in terms of content or bonus features?

awesome this is some of the best dvd news ive heard in a while i missed the first full set release so this gives me another chance to get all the episodes in one shot. i still would like to see the ot on bluray.

haters of the ot are gonna hate. they hate to see anything ot related to be released/rereleased. they just cant accept the fact that the ot is the definitive flagship of the tmnt legacy and it sells the most that's why they keep releasing ot based products. the 1987 cartoon was better than the 4kids and nick cartoons, that's why u keep seeing ot merchandise everywhere.

Then why not release the next cartoon - the 2K3 series? Not Lionsgate, obviously. But Nick should follow suit.

Not true, there's still some reasonably priced one lurking about.

The 2K3 series was produced in SD, so I doubt a Blu-ray would ever exist. It would look awesome in HD though.

Out of curiosity, those of you who ordered the Complete Series Van set from the Lionsgate website, how much did you pay for shipping? I can't seem to find how much they charge...

The total for me came up with Tax plus Shipping at $93.74 and that's with Ground Shipping.

I still say people got "Turtles and a Hare" mixed up with the Usagi Yojimbo episode. That's the only explanation.

I have all the individual volumes, the only way I'd double dip is if they did a complete set that didn't come in that God-awful van, where the discs are less than safe. Give me a nice fat square case I can store with my other DVD collections.

Its not Turtles And A Hare that is surpring, but Superhero For A Day sticks out. It was a fine episode but not top ten material. I would argue that Splinter Vanishes is a better representation of season 4. However we all know the pathetic nature as to how they decided what would be included. My favorite overall episode did make it even with the method used so I can't complian too much especially since it makes no sense to buy it for me.
