No matter how cool they seem, 200$ isn't an impulse buy for most of us collectors. So I hear ya, dude. Their being fragile aside, I do think they're worth the dough. The novelty of Japanese collectibles alone is awesome, & they're sure to only increase in value. Plus there's that accuracy, & the long-needed alternative to Playmates toys.

I know money may be tight for some but this is a well-worth-it purchase. These will be HTF eventually. I'd suggest you get these while you can.

A few shots. Not as amazing as others, but still...thought I'd share. Thanks.
p.s. first attempt at posting pics, so apologies if they're huge or whatever... [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG]

One of the things that really blew me away with these was the ability to move their eyes. I had no clue they could do that when I ordered them. It was a really nice surprise. I really hope they do more characters. Does anyone know, is Revoltech known for continuing lines or do they just put out small groups and move on?

I believe someone posted Creepy Woody in this thread, and so my Woody arrived today.
Let's see what madness is in store! Thanks to everyone for making me get him. |

Iv'e seen some revoltech woodys going pretty cheap on ebay recently. Iv'e read some of the sellers feedback, and some people are claiming that he/she is selling knockoffs!
Is there such thing as a revoltech Woody bootleg?

Not sure but I got mine from HLJ, the same place I got my revoltech turtles.
Mine seems legit. |

I don't know about knockoffs. but I'm sure the Woody variant without the creepy face plate goes for a lot less then the popular one.

This was just the sellers feedback I was reading so it might not have been aimed at the Woody figure. Guess there's only one way to find out

So i finally got my neca turtles. Or at least 2 of them.
Raph can't seem to hold his sais all that good. I can only get him to hold it properly by placing it between his fingers. Mikey holds his chucks just perfectly. |

No. I said neca.
I compare them with the revoltech turtles side by side and I think I prefer the Revoltech turtles for poseability. Some of the joints on the neca turtles are pretty stiff in comparison. Neca turtles do win some points for presentation. Especially when they're based off the mirage comics tmnt. |

From a posability standpoint, I can agree. The Revoltech figures definitely win, not just in the range of motion, but also the durability and consistency of their joints.
Taken as a whole though, when they're all laid out on a shelf and you're left to assess their overall visual appeal, you might have a more dynamic and lively pose from the Revoltech figures, but NECA balances out the scales nicely with their impressive sculpts, paint deco, and more obscured hinges. In the end, my preference does go to the Revoltechs. My only real point is that it's a tight contest.

And also, the Neca turtles can stand on one leg making a side kick pose. The Revoltech turtles can't.
