According to the Kickstarter page, he only needs 2K to reach his goal.

If I bought the 2 books for $65, think I could put both my kids for pics? Or still just 1 picture still?

I'd think 1. He's accepting questions via email so why not just email and ask to be certain?

I didn't back a book, but seems like the project was a great success the second time around. Hope it ends up being a great volume.

I hope he ends up doing another run for those of us too stupid to back the first one.

It looks like Kevin Eastman is going to be buying some in bulk to sell on his site. So that may be an option eventually. Of course, they would be signed copies so they would be more expensive.

I don't think this will be anywhere near as comprehensive as it could/should be.

Yeah, I was hoping this might have an official involvement with the Playmates Toys archival department. Now THAT would be a book I'd buy!

From what I know, there is no archival department at Playmates Toys.

I can add my experience in trying to get in touch with such a department as having been useless.

I thought he said some where that Playmates was supporting him. I could be wrong.

After he launched the Kickstarter I contacted a rep at Playmates to make them aware of the project. They did send back a response in support of the project. But to my knowledge, they were not involved with the project previously.

I would love a book that covered everything and anything you could possibly find. Clothing, bootlegs, food tie-ins, prototypes, dollar store merchandise over the years, books, movies, games and so forth. Everything!

edit: forgot Convention Exclusives and mail away/fan club stuff.
You might want to order this: Ninja Turtles Collectibles

It's not comprehensive or even close to it. But it does dedicate most of the book to non-toy merchandise.

So this book should begin shipping soon. Anybody think that their copy of this book will be waiting for them under the Christmas tree? I know there have been a number of setbacks because of the new format and the hurricanes too managed to slow everything down. But I wonder if that managed to delay the release at all.

I would not expect this to land before Christmas. Nickelodeon has actually picked up this book to publish it officially. Backers will still get whatever they pledged for, but I assume there will be an extra delay in the publishing process.
