Thought this was worth mentioning,

Hope you guys support it, The Don Rosa Scrooge stories were the best, and many ended up being incorporated in to the original Ducktales tv show.

I love that they're using Scrooge's old rival. I hope they don't skimp out on the supernatural stuff this time. Those were always my favorite episodes.

First short released with more coming - Donald, Scrooge, and Huey shorts will be released tomorrow. Webby, Launchpad and Mrs. Beakley shorts will be released on June 16.

The shorts are ok, i just hope they have actual adventures and its not all just slice of life comedy.

So far I find it to be "meh". I have a feeling this series will just be a soulless comedy devoid of story, character development, and real action. They might as well have had this on cartoon network.

It'll take getting used of, but Tennant as Scrooge isn't so bad. I still hate the fact that I keep subconsciously comparing him to Alan Young, though.

As for the nephews, I'm really hating the voices. They don't suit them, imo. They sound too old.

Ha, someone on tumblr anonymously sent me a message about how "nobody cares" that I don't like the voices...but I didn't let them have the time of day and deleted the message. Kind of wish I didn't and taken a screenshot it as a trophy. First time I'd gotten anon hate.

But seriously, the adults playing the nephews are so grating that it's killed my interest in the show. I could even try to tolerate David Tennant as Scrooge, barely, but I can't tolerate the voices of the nephews.

It makes me think of that bit in Nostalgia Critic's Lorax review where he dubbed over a scene of the Iron Giant as Hogarth, to show how dumb it is to cast a deep-voiced adult as a young child.
