I'm sure they'd be a lot of legal mumbo jumbo in the way, like wether or not Andrew gets royalties and whatnot.

I don't think that remotely has anything to do with it.

More about Origin, as deep into scripting now:

* April O'Neil has joined the bunch. She wants answers about her own origin.

* Fugitoid is there. In some capacity.

* Donatello will be wearing the same getup he did in Plastron Cafe #1.

* Want to know how Donatello loses his eyesight?

You're bringing in the Kirby crystal stuff? Good luck with that (not sarcasm!)

I assume Jim is giving you input based on his discussions with Laird while working on Volume 4? Or are you throwing what laird is doing in the dumpster?

Yes, but I don't want to make myself sad

Not exactly. April just wants answers.

Absolutely not, in any way, shape, or form.

I'm closing in on the script, but I'm hesitating to do too much without Murphy's Obligado prologue in place.

I hope this gets made one day, and I'll definitely buy it when it is, but if you crowdfund this there's now way I'd support it after the 2.5+ year wait since Odyssey was fully funded.

I understand the hesitation in funding another project due to the length of time that Odyssey has taken. It initially sounded like the crowdfunding money was to be used to finish paying off the commissioned art and to actually produce the book. I'm not sure what the delay actually was, but the ball was dropped somewhere along the way. It was a long journey, but it looks like it's about to pay off for everyone who funded the project. I'm hoping that those involved have learned from the challenges that Odyssey posed and will improve on the process for any future projects.

I thoroughly enjoyed Odyssey and I know that it can be tough coordinating a book like this in one's spare time. I would certainly donate to a crowdfunding project for a new project as long as the rewards are good.

You know me Andrew, you've got my support.

Can't wait to have Odyssey on my shelf, and to one day add Origin to it as well.

I do love Turtles comics.

I think you should have a page for Odyssey and Origin like you did with Issues 24-25 Vol. 3 on your website. It's hard to get information for those titles unless you find the indiegogo page or end up on this forum.
So if I get this right, there will be a Obligado chapter at the start of the book right before the real story?

That kind of stuff makes me nervous.

Yes. Just waiting on Murphy.

Hmm I kinda understand. You don't want to make too much publicity if you don't know if you can live up to expectations (delivery quality...). Humble.

Not only that, but somebody at Viacom could consider these projects copyright infringement and issue a "cease and desist"... or worse!

Certain folks at Nickelodeon and IDW may know of it, but the higher ups may not be aware.
