This doesn't seem necessary. Looks like Warner Bros. is starting to become Sony.

While both of them attempt to emulate Marvel Studios...

Mixed feelings. On on hand, a Harley Quinn movie sounds like a great idea. Lots of story stuff to work with.

But on the other hand, slow down WB. The DCCU has barely started and this is the ninth movie you've started planning on. Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

I would be totally down for this, whether its a Harley solo, a Gotham Sirens (live action Ivy with todays CGI would be incredible), or a Birds of Prey (maybe give Black Canary the role she deserves)

While it does seem a little early for DC to be planning this out, I have my hopes high for the Suicide Squad, specifically Harley, who if done right could have a lot of good ways to take her own movie.

They don't have a choice. They want this MARVEL MONEY HERE and NOW.
Sadly, I am afraid all this rushing lead to the DCCU crashing and burning spectacularly. But, I will be glad, if I am ultimately wrong.

I would give anything for the punk biker outfit from Arkham City. Just the right blend of harlequinn, sexy, and BAMF.

I'm surprised they didn't emulate that straight away, now that you have mentioned it.

It seems more in character that the psuedo-Lolita thing from Suicide Squad.

What is not perfect about pure and beautiful love?!

Though, I'd bet a lot of depends on performance of the Suicide Squad movie and so far, DC's track record does not inspire confidence.

The spin-off movie is moving forward. Margot Robbie is executive producing it: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/new...st-look-928813

Man, I can so easily imagine a world where DC ditches its original film slate and just produces Harley-centric films.

May it bring with it a DCEU Poison Ivy. And hell, while I'm wishing, I want Evelyn Crawford ("Starling") in it, too.
