I saw it Saturday, enjoyed it, but it felt like the watching the middle of a story, 2nd movie in a trilogy, middle of a TV season, etc.

I literally just read that just before you posted it. Wacky sh*t.
I was curious because I wanted to see if even ONE article about the movie could stay away from the whole "Lesbian Elsa" thing, and based on the title it seemed "safe". But nope. I swear that anyone over the age of 12 who's interested in this franchise is only interested in it for that one reason. And that's more than a little ridiculous. Also, if your 4-year old kid drags you to a movie and the biggest thing you can find to gripe about is "The main character in this children's cartoon aimed primary at kids under 8 isn't gay enough"... like THAT is your primary point of concern while watching it... I'm sorry, y'all got some weird values. I mean, I'm a person who sees sex in everything but there's definitely something a little "off" when you're openly and actively trying to slip it into stuff for 5-year olds. I know I'm outvoted on that but it's never not going to seem weird to me.

That's probably the idea, for Disney to make a third film so they can milk the franchise even more.

The fans also won’t let the franchise go until Elsa is a lesbian on-screen in a movie. For some it’s for LGBT reasons or representation. For me, it’s just to see some hot cartoon lesbians in a Disney movie. I just want to see Elsa and some girl be the new queens of the kingdom of lesbiana.
And yes there’s a big difference between something that’s official and just fanart or whatever. Anyone can draw anything, but for something to be “official” and “real” makes a world of difference. Frozen 3 will make Elsa a lesbian queen I have no doubt. Hopefully by 2023 we’ll see it. |

Most Disney movies have on screen kisses between the couples, like Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, etc so that at the bare minimum. Besides that a wedding scene if they push it, Disney can even use that to promote gay marriage as a norm for the younger generation.
Modern Disney movies do tend to have more risqué humor and interactions than the old stuff, so who knows. Maybe some inside jokes for adults. |

For those who haven't seen the film yet, here is a special sneak peek of it. It's the "Into the Unknown" musical number.

I went back to see the sequel with both my mom and my cousin's little boy today. We went to a theater where they showing it on a Sony 4K camera. It's still a very good follow-up to one of the most popular movies of all-time and is very beautiful to look at. I also still really enjoyed the character growth that both Elsa and Anna went through.

Idina Menzel or should I say "Adele Dazeem" is going to perform at the Oscars again. I wonder if John Travolta also known as "Glom Gazingo" will introduce her again.
Oscars: Elton John, Cynthia Erivo, Idina Menzel, Chrissy Metz, Randy Newman To Perform |

If he'd smarten up and hop on Pornhub for two seconds instead'a whining about it, he'd see all the Elsa lesbian porn he could handle and then some.
So I've heard. Ahem. Anyways, he's gotta be working his gimmick because nobody's that obtuse. I mean after I saw the first movie that's the FIRST thing I-... Nevermind. Never. MIND. Nothing to see here, move along.

Watched it again now that its out, and while I enjoy it while it's playing and liked the character arcs and some of the songs...it just kinda....ends on an, "eh?" Like it feels like the movie needed a stronger climax. I agree with the post above that felt like this was the middle part of a trilogy or something, or like a middle chapter, because it doesn't really feel like a grand sendoff to these characters. I mean I know there probably will be a Frozen 3 eventually, but this movie felt like it's just kinda there. It only has a 77% on rotten, I'd probably bump it up to an 80%, but leave it there.

The movie definitely wasn't worth waiting 7 years for. If this movie came out back in 2016 or something it would have been more acceptable, with a third movie coming out in 2019/2020. |

The earth giants was the only thing that stood out to me and was enjoyable. The film made Olaf, Sven, and the reindeer even more annoying than the first movie.
